Vintage Barbie American Girl Titian (Redhead) with Original Body

Beautiful American Girl Doll Redhead (Titian) Shiny Hair with great Peachy Lipstick. All Original but someone in the past added extra eyeliner (I have never tried to remove it). One hole in each ear. Did I mention the hair is Fabulous and Shiny Red! Almost all polish on hands. One knee bends beautifully, the other one does not. Cut Below the knee. Also, that leg is not as tight on the hip as the other good leg is but it’s not about to come off either. Arms are tight and hold their pose. On top of shoulder, and inside of other arm. I did not attempt to clean. She’s a wonderful display doll! Smoke and Pet Free Home. 1965 Vintage Barbie AMERICAN GIRL #1070 Blonde swimsuit & shoes withhomemade box

Note: BOX IS A HOMEMADE VERSION FOR DISPLAY. You dont see these every day! Why not treat yourself or surprise the vintage Barbie lover in your life? Mattel initially called this doll the” Bendable Leg” Barbie rather than the “American Girl” Barbie. But because of her page-boy style hair, it was eventually changed to the American Girl. This is a Beautiful, Blonde American Girl Barbie doll in Good condition complete with the original outfit/shoes. The black wire stand is not correct for this doll (should be brass), but is included. Box is a SCAN of an original I have and is a HOME-MADE by hand version (not vintage, but nice for display). The doll is not perfect, but very lovely and displays well. An affordable version of this more difficult to find Barbie. Pend Made In Japan with the number 6 on the left side cheek. The face paint looks excellent with no loss that I can detect. The earring holes have some faint greening tinge (see close ups) but dont stand out and hasnt spread any in the many years we have owned her. Most of the fingernail paint is intact. No touch-ups or alterations. The hair is in nice shape and has not been cut or altered in any way. Arms and legs are tight and move/pose well. Both legs have some chipping/poke marks on them. Not sure what might have caused this? There are 2 dark spots on the calf on the left leg. The original one-piece striped swim-suit is tagged with fabric tag, Barbie & Japan and is in excellent shape. The turquoise open-toe heels are very good marked Japan on one sole. She is a truly lovely example of the American Girl doll, as you can see from the photographs, and our pricing reflects the flaws described. She would be a wonderful addition to any vintage, Barbie collection! American Girl Barbie 1965 1967. And, she wasn’t the only one that got bendable legs that year; so did Ken, Allan, Midge and Skipper. Barbie had blue eyes, various lip colors, and a choice of light blonde, ash blonde, yellow blonde, titian/red, brunette, platinum blonde hair colors. Most American Girl dolls had a shorter page-boy style haircut, but there are some harder to find dolls with bubble cut, side-part, and longer middle-part styles. These dolls sell for more on the secondary market. Some of these rare dolls came with high color faces as well. The first issue dolls had indented intaglio markings (like Miss Barbie), but the later issue dolls came with the raised intaglio marks on her bottom. She’s sure a beauty, and one of my favorites! Pend Made In Japan. Included with the doll in the box were her one-piece striped swim-suit, turquoise open-toe heels, gold wire stand and booklet. Vintage Barbie American Girl Blonde Straight Leg-oss Incl Paper Japan Tag+shoes

I have been told that because she has straight legs her head has been placed on an older, straight leg body. I have seen several of these dolls, mostly blonde with the straight legs through the years and have never been able to understand why anyone would prefer this pretty head on a body without the bend legs. I thought it may be a transitional doll. Her hair is very nice and full and is actually a little smushed at the back so you can see through it but she is missing no plugs. Her torso is overall pretty clean but her legs are soiled. The places on the front of her upper thigh have for the most part rubbed off with my finger so I believe them to be quite superficial. Her face is near perfect, with all of her make up intact. Her lips have turned buttery. Except for a couple of little areas on her lips that are missing paint. There is no green ear as she has no earring holes. Her original swimsuit retains both the Barbie tag and a paper (sewn into the seam) made in Japan tag which Ive never seen. Her left shoe is marked Japan as it should be. This is a very pretty example of this doll. Please look at all of my photographs as they are the visual portion of my description. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Please take into consideration the fact that the items for sale here are from numerous places. I have no way of knowing what they have been exposed to. Once in a while a piece will get listed that I do not realize has an odor. Some people have a more acute sense of smell than myself. Gorgeous Vintage Blonde American Girl Barbie in Pak Scoop Neck Playsuit Set

Offered here is a pretty 1965 blonde American Girl Barbie wearing vintage white Pak Scoop-Neck Playsuit ensemble with wide blue belt, blue wedge heels, and blue purse, all in good condition. (Doll stand is not included). She has a beautiful face, with blue eyes and coral lips that have faded to a buttery color. She has the tiniest bit of a paint rub to the top of her lips, but otherwise her face is gorgeous! No nose or chin nips, no neck splits, no stains or fading to her face. And no green ear. She has a little poke above her right eye and another one on her right cheek, but her hair hides that one. (see photos #2 and #4). Her pretty blonde hair is long, thick, shiny, and perfectly styled with no cuts or missing plugs. Her bend leg body is in very good condition, with just a small cut on her left ankle, (see photo #8) otherwise no pinholes, no stains or fading. S he has all of her fingers and toes, with most of her fingernail polish. She is a beautiful doll for someone’s collection. This is a smoke free, cat free home. This allows me to keep my prices low.
