1960 Vintage #3 Blond Ponytail Dressed Barbie by Carols

1960 VINTAGE #3 BLOND PONYTAIL DRESSED BARBIE DOLL. For your consideration is a restored Vintage Ponytail Barbie. She was cleaned first and next I rerooted her hair with a dark strawberry blond blend by hand, using the knot method, then restyled into a vintage ponytail with a top knot. Touched-up brows, lids, lips & nose dots. All nails were touched-up and added blush to her cheeks! Finished with Liquitex Professional Matte Varnish. Her body has some discoloration, please see photos. She is on a beautiful Solid TM #3 Body and in wonderful vintage condition! She will come dressed in Gold n Glamour, I dont know if this is vintage- the zipper reads YKK and with accessories, gloves, earrings, bracelet and brown pumps. Also a reproduction Box included! I have been restoring Vintage Ponytails for over a decadeits wonderful to see the real beauty in each & every one! Barbie VINTAGE Blonde JAPANESE EXCLUSIVE DRESSED BOX #20022628 TNT Doll

Not mint but nice for display. Dolls have been wiped down with a damp cloth but could use a little cleaning. Head has no repaints, reroots, splits, nips, green, trimmed or empty plugs. Face paint is complete with lashes in both eyes. Hair appears to be in the factory set with original bow. Body is marked 1966 Japan with with tight arms, waist, and hips. Most finger and toe polish. Wrist tag is detached and missing the part that goes around the wrist. She will come dressed in her tagged Japaneses exclusive outfit. There is a flaw to the weave on the skirt of the dress and the back of the sleeves have deteriorated as shown. Also includes accessories and booklet in sealed cello baggie, clear “x” stand, and box. Liner has some wear but is intact. Box has shelf wear but considering how fragile these are it has survived well. There is no “best offer” option on this listing. Now for the fine print: DESCRIPTION Smoke free home but the previous environment may not have been smoke/pet free. Any odors detected will be addressed. Condition grades like “mint”, “near mint”, etc. Are very subjective so I don’t use them. The photos and description should help you reach your own grading conclusions. Vintage Barbie Japanese Exclusive Dressed American Girl In Fashion Editor

This brunette AG beauty has soft mocha hair and what is known as “soft color” make up, with all original subtle color lips, beautiful dark brows, and bright blue eyes. Her bangs are nice and flat with factory mint hair. Earring holes at ears, no green. Lovely soft coloring in her face vinyl. Her bendleg body appears to be in mint condition. Polish present on fingers (slight rubs), no to polish. She comes wearing a near mint and complete Fashion Editor and is packaged in her unique Japanese market American Girl Gift box with the cardboard hip sash in the liner to keep her in place. The paper leaves on the hat and waist have faded an are curled. She comes wearing short white tricot gloves which were included with the dressed box dolls. Also included is the Exclusive Fashion Booklet 1 with the camera and shoes in the original cello, the JE pedestal base stand with the Barbie letters etched in gold and upright wire. The gold lettering is nice and bright. The base has some scuffing and melt marks. The box is in excellent condition and has no hair color label. The lid has one corner repaired and is missing the Japan stock sticker. This is a unique item that would be a great addition to any collection.
