GORGEOUS Vintage BLONDE #3 PONYTAIL BARBIE BROWN EYELINER TM JAPAN

For sale is this beautiful blonde # 3 Ponytail Barbie doll circa 1960, Model 850. Please use my photographs as part of this description. She has brown eyeliner, a solid vinyl body that still smells of crayons and which has faded to an ivory color. She does have some pale red dye transfer on her upper thighs and upper torso, probably from an outfit she was wearing. She also has a pinkish mark on her upper left back and upper right thigh. I believe she is all original, but I have not done an alcohol test on her. Her hair is long and silky soft with curly bangs. She has no rubs, neck splits or nose nips. Her left ear has green ear which is green just around the earring hole so not noticeable when she is wearing earrings. She wears a pair of replacement “pearl” earrings with plastic posts. All her limbs are firm and hold a pose. She has 100% polish on all ten fingers and toes. She has a small hole on the top of her left heel. She is marked Barbie T. ” on her butt and “JAPAN under her right foot running from heel to toe with the # 17 below it. She has the # 117 on her left butt cheek. She’s a beautiful doll! Old & I have honestly listed the condition issues I see with her, her clothing, accessories & other items which are included. However, what we find important as buyers may be different. Body, limbs, head of doll internally or externally having discolorations, stains, scratches, odors, molds, wear to the vinyl/plastic/rooted hair or replacement of said parts. Restoration to body, limbs, head, face or hair of doll including restyling of hair, repainting of face, body or limbs. Also, I do not “test” any of the doll’s paint to determine if it has had a repaint/touch-up. Welcome to my listing for a vintage number three brunette Barbie from 1961 with a lovely braided updo. She comes with her zebra OSS, Black Japan OTS, Vintage Booklet, Vintage HTF “On The Go” Printed Floral Sheath early issue with YKK zipper. I’ve included a Vintage Clutch Purse from the Barbie Red Flare Coat Ensemble & a pair of generic red sling back shoes. Please take your time viewing all the photos as they are a very important part of the description. Description: My description is based on what I see. I have always collected what I love & as mentioned above, this #3 PT is 57yrs. Old, so I’m sure she has been loved by her previous owners especially some lucky child who received her in 1961 :o. 1 She has no green ear, nose nips, neck splits, missing fingers, toes, n eck knob in tack without issues. 2 Her torso & head /face are fairly evenly matched; she has some faint red shading/staining on her breasts and mid torso; right arm a little lighter than her left; small pinhead light dirt/mark/stain? Very faint above right ankle. I only mention this because I can see it; top of thighs/hips have normal factory indents. She smells like crayons which is common with #3’s. Her fingernail/toenail polish appear to be original & is still bright red without receding color. Her right foot is stamped Japan. ” Her butt has the appropriate raised lettering “Barbie TM 3. Her hair is in a lovely braided updo, there are some flyaways & fuzzies from being stored. Her bangs are her original poodle curls. She has 2 earring holes as seen in photos. Her face is beautiful. She has the HTF blue eyeliner, full ruby red lips (matching her finger & toenail polish) without rubs & full dark brows with no fading or receding. Note on her hair: it has not been cut nor is it missing plugs. When I bought her 12yrs. Ago, she had the classic ponytail with topknot & was restyled into this lovely updo. I mention this in case you want to have her hair restyled into her ponytail look. Unfortunately, some are very late to pay or do not pay at all. Her limbs are tight, she can hold any Barbie pose. Hair is thin on top. A few nicks in her skin, see photos (neck, shoulder and torso). Her skin everywhere is in good vintage condition but does have minimal signs of dirt and age. Vtg #3 BARBIE Brunette Solid Body MCMLVIII Blue Eyeliner Zebra Swimsuit Japan

Original #3 Brunette Barbie w/ Ponytail – Model 850 Marked Japan on right foot. Soft Hair – White Irises, Blue eyeliner (no earrings) – No Green Ear Curved Eyebrows No holes in bottom of feet. Solid Torso w/ Nipples (I think) – see photos. Someone has asked whether this is a #4 Barbie. I have read online differences between #3 and #4. This Barbie is not pale, no signs of fading. No visible blush on cheeks, either. She is a healthy tan vinyl. She comes from her original owner and has been packed away for many years. I leave it up to buyers to determine if she is a #3 or #4. On right bottom cheek it reads. Barbie (no TM symbol). Comes with original black wire stand and the black and white zebra swimsuit only. 60s Vintage Mattel Ponytail Dark Brunette Barbie Doll #5 Japan Blue Eyeliner #4

1960s Vintage Ponytail Brunette Barbie doll Japan Blue Eyeliner Dark Red Lips. Vintage 1960s Ponytail Barbie Brunette Raven/Black hair doll (hair is darker in color than another Brunette doll I have listed from the same era). I believe this may be a “4” or “5”? All nice original red lip and nostrils, eyes with blue eyeliner and nail colors. There is a yellow elastic in her hair and is braided. And a B or may be 8 with 66. Marked clearly Japan 26 on the bottom of the one foot. I could not see a TM or ® see close up photo of markings. There is a black line on the inner part of her ankle and appears it could be in the making as well as some indentations around the hip area that appear to be in the making. Due to earrings left in the ears for years, there is greening around the earrings and leaving as is and up to the new owner to remove earrings and work with greening. Also there is some white residue on the inner part of one ear. Body is very clean and limbs are tight. Overall very nice condition and well taken care of through the years. There is a light white film residue on her torso from the bodysuit from Icebreaker #942 outfit she was wearing. I have the 1961 Bubble Cut with the box in another listing as well.
