GORGEOUS Vintage Barbie Blonde Ponytail # 4, 1960, JAPAN, TM Solid Body, Dressed

Beautiful HTF Early Vintage 1960 Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll #4 in excellent condition. She has all fingers and toes, no green ear, no neck splits, no nose nip, no bad smells, no holes, no pricks, holds a pose and has all hair intact. She has light playwear here and there as expected and a light pen dot type mark on the back of her left thigh. I touched up her face paint, nails and blushed her cheeks. I retied her hair with top wrap and reset her hard curl. Her body is excellent with an even skin tone which is definitely hard to find. I also gave her safe, faux pearl earrings which are included. The stand is not included. She has an early solid “TM” Barbie Only Body that smells lightly of crayons and her rear is marked. She will make a stunning addition to your collection. Vintage #3 Brunette Ponytail Barbie Doll Solid TM Body Original 1960

Up for sale is a #3 brunette ponytail Barbie. She has thick long hair. I believe she still has her original top knot and not sure if it’s original but the bottom of her ponytail is also tied with her own hair. I’ve never seen that before. Her makeup is all original with dark eyebrows, brown eyeliner and coral lips. Her body has whitened nicely over time and smells like crayons. No green discolored ears although there is a very tiny hole in each ear for earrings. Her hands and toes have about 75% of red polish. She has a heavy solid body and all joints are tight. Her buttocks say BarbieTM/Pats. She is a gorgeous all original gal that displays the Mattel vintage early 60’s outfits beautifully!

Lips need to be retouched. Hair is long, but not full. She has a small spot on the top of her scalp, where the flocking is missing. The hair as you can see, covers it nicely. No green ear or split neck. Solid heavy Body, legs have scratches. She has most of her finger and toe nail polish. She has all her fingers and toes and arms and legs hold a tight pose. She is wearing a Barbie tagged Silver Metallic suit. Zipper needs a few stitches on one side to tighten, but will display nicely as is. No stains or holes. Brunette Dolls are harder to find. 1960 Ponytail #4 Barbie wearing Zebra swimsuit and hoop earrings. Doll has nice facial paint, I see no paint chipping from eyes. Lips are a paler red (almost a pink color) and slightly faded at corner of left of mouth. Hair is in original pony tail style… However bottom rubber band has been replaced, Ends of ponytail has curl but could use refreshing. Bangs are tight fluffy soft curls She wears a zebra swimsuit, hoop silver earrings, black shoes… Doll has no green ear at all She has a solid body and is much heavier than later Barbies. Nail polish to hands and feet still hold lots of color and are nice. Legs have darkened compared to rest of body…. I think this can be seen in photo’s She has appropriate markings, Barbie T. MCMLV111 By Mattel Inc. Doll comes with pedestal stand that is marked Barbie Circle R By Mattel. The doll is a beauty in her own right and displays very well. I have seen a few #4 with the pedestal stand and hoop earrings as Mattel did not want to waste product from one doll to a new version so they used up what they had on hand. Vintage STUNNING EARLY #4 PONYTAIL BARBIE SOLID HEAVY TM BODY ORIGINAL SWIMSUIT

Barbie has a stunning face that is fuller like the #3 faces with original face paint that has been alcohol tested. Her lips are blood red and darker in some areas. Eyebrows could use a touch of paint on ends. She has whitish spots on both cheeks. She has no neck splits and no nose nips but has green ear at both ears. Her scalp is flocked and her hair is shiny and lovely. It has a band still in hair that is disintegrating and needs to be removed. Not sure if end of ponytail was trimmed or not. Her original solid heavy body is in nice display condition marked, Barbie T. PATS PEND MCMLVIII BY MATTEL, INC. With most of her original fingernail and toenail polish. She has the mold marks on sides of hips as shown that these heavy bodies commonly came with. She could use a gentle cleaning. The swimsuit is nice for display, just needs a gentle soak. One shoe is marked JAPAN and has a split starting on strap and one shoe is marked HONG KONG. A shoe box and hanger are included. A wonderful addition to any vintage Barbie collection! VTG #3 Blond Ponytail Barbie Nipple Solid Body Brown Eyeliner Red Nails Toes

This is a real find! A gorgeous face and body! This is a 1960s original #3 Barbie doll with brown eyeliner, ruby red lipstick and matching fingernails and toes. Her arms and legs are tight and straight. Her head is flocked and she has tight poodle curls. We see no missing plugs or haircuts. NO chews to fingers or toes. No necksplits or green ear. She smells like crayons. Her body color is not totally even, so she could have transitional parts. She may have painted legs because the color difference at the indented lines on her hips show two slightly different colors above and below the indention. She has a small bite mark under her chin and a small pencil or similar mark on her left hip, just above the indention. No nose nips, but there is a faint indention on the left side. Her body is missing the TM above the Barbie logo, must have been worn off over the years. She does need a gentle cleaning. The box bottom and liner are vintage. Liner is missing one arm hole. Will also come with a vintage black metal stand. A fab, fab, fabulous doll to add to a collection! Pictures clearly show the condition. Beautiful Vintage #4 Solid Body Brunette Ponytail Barbie in #963 Resort Set

Offered here is a beautiful vintage #4 solid body brunette Ponytail Barbie in #963 “Resort Set” outfit. (Doll stand not included) The outfit includes the blue and white striped sleeveless t-shirt, white shorts, red cotton “sailor” jacket with white trim, and 2 pockets, white open crown sunhat, white cork wedge sandals (the real vintage ones), and “safe” pearl earrings, all in good condition. This doll has a stunning face, gorgeous hair, and very nice body, but she does have some issues. Her face paint appears to be all original, with blue eyes, smokey shadow, and luscious red lips, but her eyebrows are missing paint and she has been treated for green ear but still has some pale green around both ears (see photos #3 and #4) and a spot on the back of her neck. She has no neck splits, and no nose nips. H er long brunette hair is gorgeous, and the thickest I have ever seen on a vintage Barbie! She has the soft poodle bangs, her top knot is in place and her ponytail is long, soft, and thick, tied at the bottom with a white ribbon, and no missing plugs that I can see. Her solid #4 body is in very good, clean, condition with no chews, cuts, stains or fading. She has all of her fingers and toes and her joints are all nice and tight. She still has most of her fingernail polish. She is a truly stunning doll in spite of her issues. She displays well and would make a lovely addition to someone’s collection! This is a smoke free, cat free home. This allows me to keep my prices low.
