Gorgeous Vintage #3 Ponytail Barbie Near-Perfect Original Face Paint TM Body

Gorgeous #3 vintage brunette ponytail Barbie doll with well-matched head and body vinyl of a very light creamy tannish coloring… Like cream with just a little coffee in it. The original neck nob has been replaced with an expertly hand-tooled one made of a nylon composition which is virtually unbreakable. It should be noted that this doll’s face retains the original blush, and the original face paint (see picture #2) needed only light touch-ups to eyelid edges and lips (orangey-red color). The touch-up paint is a water-soluble acrylic, and can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Picture #1 was taken “after” touch-ups, and picture #2 was taken “before”. The hair appears to be uncut, and the original ponytail is undisturbed, with a new elastic carefully applied. The nail polish is 60% on fingernails and none is left on toenails; it should be noted that there is a very small chip on top of right big toenail; and there are some small blemishes on torso, and some surface scuffs and tiny pricks on lower legs and feet. The original vintage swimsuit is in excellent condition. Overall, this is a beautiful #3 Ponytail Barbie in wonderful condition. Faux #2 Ponytail Barbie (#1 Face) Repaint of a #3

DOLL COMES NUDE- NOT IN THE OUTFIT SHOWN! Here is a hard to find gal that is just stunning. This was a number three ponytail that had terrible face paint that was mostly gone. She has been nicely repainted as a number one. There are no holes in her feet. Her torso mustve been made the day the factory in Japan was switching over to a more resilient vinyl. It has kind of a zebra striping in faded vinyl like Ive never seen before on any other doll. She would need to be displayed in an outfit that covers her decalogue. Or she might look all right if her torso was painted all one color. But even if that was done she would not display well in a swimsuit. She has some stains on her legs and a bad one on her bottom. Part of her hair beyond the top knot been trimmed. It is hidden inside the ponytail. The thinner ponytail actually makes her look more like a number one, then a number three. She has no green ear. Vintage #1 Brunette Ponytail Barbie With Repainted Face Early Nipple Body

This is the Vintage Queen: The Coveted #1 Brunette Barbie Ponytail. Her face has been repainted (brows, eyes, lips) by the incomparable Lolaxs with added blush, and its hard to believe it is not original. She has an early, clearly defined nipple #1 body marked Barbie TM. The last picture shows the two rods sticking out of the holes on the bottom of her feet. Its flesh tone is fairly uniform between torso, arms, and legs. There are a few very pale brownish spots on her upper left arm, right calf, and right thigh. Very faded and small. Her arms and legs are all tight at their joints, nothing swingy. Retouched finger and toe nail paint. There is a very teeny nick out of her left arm hole and a surface gouge near her right buttocks. Neither is significant and have no effect on the legs or arms movement back and forth. She has a fairly typical body in terms of wear and tear over her 62 years. I do have another #2 brunette with very long hair, like this girl. The retied ponytails elastic is dried and cracking. Her nearly black bangs have two rows of multiple soft curls. This is a fabulous early ponytail. The nipple body is particularly hard to find. Because of the new face paint which places her exact provenance into question, she is priced very competitively. She has a beautiful face with nice face paint and lips that have faded to a warm yellow color. She has no green ear, no neck splits and no nose nips. She has a couple extra pin taps at left ear under earring but hard to see unless you look for them. Safe pearl earrings are included. Her hair is magnificent! Super thick with lots of waves. She’s on her original body in lovely condition with most of her original fingernail and toenail polish. She’s marked, Midge 1962 Barbie 1958 BY MATTEL, INC. She will come in her original red helenca swimsuit with no runs, just needs a gentle soak. Also included will be the orange body blouse and slim skirt from her 1960’s mix n match Pak pieces and a pair of later orange heels as shown. The belt is handmade. The piece to hold down the end of belt was missing so I used a piece of fashion tape to hold it down for display. Al so included will be a shoe box, box for belt and hangers. Gorgeous #3 vintage blonde ponytail Barbie doll with well-matched head, body, and limbs of a creamy coloring, with the arms having a slight pinkish tone. The face paint is all original with some light rubbing to lips and eyelash edges. The neck nob is original and undamaged, and head moves very easily, and there is a tiny factory bubble at front top edge of the neck, which looks like a pin prick. This doll is in wonderful condition overall, but with some light dingeyness in places, a light greenish mark on upper front of right leg, a small indentation on upper front of left leg and a small one on upper back of right leg, lower legs lean slightly to the right, and there is a 3/8 long surface indentation on lower backside of right arm, and three pin-pricks on top of left foot. There are no missing hairplugs, and the hair is uncut/untrimmed; the ponytail has a new elastic and has been re-wrapped. The original nail polish is about 75%. Vintage Barbie Doll Swirl Ponytail 1965 Lemon Blonde American Girl Face

You are purchasing Vintage Barbie Doll Swirl Ponytail 1965 Lemon Blonde American Girl Face. She has the American girl face She has buttercup lips in between a nude and bronze a subtle color. Her lips have some rub offs mostly top(if you look at the close ups you can see the rub offs) bottom is full. Since its such a light shade the rubs are not that noticeable when displayed unless you focus on the lips. She has that lemony blonde hair. Her limbs are tight and they hold pose. No splits and no missing hair plugs. No major color or dirt stains on the body. Her hair is nice, the swirl part has some push up looseness however is still in the ponytail as shown. She has some pin pricks on her ear area one side right next to the lobe the other side few pushing out toward the cheek shown in the close ups. The bow in the back is super mint not sure if that is a replacement as there is no age to it. Make up full on the top of the eyes, she has rub offs under the eyes where they put small eyeliner there. She has a circle scratch on one of her legs calves. She has some minor scratches on her body their mostly surface. Most noticeable the behind. Few small scratches on her feet and arms. She has the barbie midge body. She has the tan face tan arms legs are semi tan torso not which is normal for these dolls. Polish is about 85%. She has a small ding mark on the hand. Her bathing suit is near mint no major stains or holes. Few minor pop threads, and aging. She only comes with a swimsuit. Flaws shown in photos and pictures taken in natural light. She is a displayable doll as shown, she is also hard to find swirls were not made for that long. #1 blonde Ponytail Barbie With Original box. She has been fully alcohol tested, eyes, brows and lips. All make up looks to be original. She does not have eyelash ridge rubs, that is just a reflection. She has beautiful thick long hair and really soft full bangs. Her head and body have retained lots of color and match perfectly. She her original top knot, which is VERY hard to find. There are NO neck splits , nose nip or green ear. Her feet have shoe stains. She has the appropriate T. M butt markings for a number one Barbie. She has Japan in the rare older square box on her heel rather than the later vertical markings. Her box is excellent and is Marked with the appropriate hair color, the the box has some discoloration.
