This is an authentic 1963 Titian (Redhead) Bubblecut Barbie on the correct period-accurate straight-leg Midge/Barbie body. This doll is a “true survivor” with 100% original, untouched factory face paint, no restorations or repaints have been performed. Face & Makeup: Features crisp, original blue side-glancing eyes and coral-toned lips. Vinyl Condition: The face exhibits “snowing” (white oxidation spots) common in 1960s vinyl, serving as a hallmark of its vintage age. Shoulders have some markings. Hair: Thick, full Titian redhead Bubblecut; the hair is in its original factory set with no visible missing plugs or trims. Body Markings: Right hip is clearly stamped: MidgeT 1962 / Barbie® 1958 / by Mattel, Inc. Articulation: Classic straight-leg style with “tippy-toe” feet designed for vintage heels. Coloration: Shows typical vintage “mismatched” fading where the torso has lightened more than the limbs and head. Nail Polish: Partial original coral/red polish remains on the hands, with heavier fading on the feet. Standing height is approximately 11.5 to 12 inches. Doll ONLY stand NOT included. Gorgeous Vintage #3 Ponytail Barbie Near-Perfect Original Face Paint TM Body

Gorgeous #3 vintage brunette ponytail Barbie doll with well-matched head and body vinyl of a very light creamy tannish coloring… Like cream with just a little coffee in it. The original neck nob has been replaced with an expertly hand-tooled one made of a nylon composition which is virtually unbreakable. It should be noted that this doll’s face retains the original blush, and the original face paint (see picture #2) needed only light touch-ups to eyelid edges and lips (orangey-red color). The touch-up paint is a water-soluble acrylic, and can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Picture #1 was taken “after” touch-ups, and picture #2 was taken “before”. The hair appears to be uncut, and the original ponytail is undisturbed, with a new elastic carefully applied. The nail polish is 60% on fingernails and none is left on toenails; it should be noted that there is a very small chip on top of right big toenail; and there are some small blemishes on torso, and some surface scuffs and tiny pricks on lower legs and feet. The original vintage swimsuit is in excellent condition. Overall, this is a beautiful #3 Ponytail Barbie in wonderful condition. VINTAGE 1959 ORIG #1 PONYTAIL BARBIE DOLL With SUNGLASSES, SHOES & SS ORIG PAINT

THE ONE THAT STARTED IT ALL! ORIGINAL 1959 #1 PONYTAIL BARBIE DOLL. Up for grabs (just in time for X-Mas) is a blonde, #1 Ponytail Barbie from 1959. She has a very soft, pretty look with her original face paint. Her fingernail polish is also original. Her hair is a little thin but she has no missing plugs. Her top-knot has been retied and her hard curl restored. She has a nice body, but the toes on both of her feet were broken off. The toes on her left foot were already restored when she came to me, not sure why they only did not foot. The right toes have not been repaired. She has no neck splits; her earring holes are a little dark but she has no green ear. She will come with her original swimsuit in good condition, original shoes — one broken strap across the top, and original sunglasses with one missing arm. She is a lovely doll. Gorgeous #3 vintage dark brunette ponytail Barbie doll head with an original factory braid, still in original condition… The old elastic was carefully removed and replaced with a new one, without disturbing the wrap or any of the hair. The hair is uncut and there are no missing hairplugs. Except for a shallow indentation on right side of face at lower cheek (see close-up pictures 2, 4, 5, & 6), the face is undamaged, and the face paint is all original; the insides of earring holes are dark. Gorgeous #3 vintage blonde ponytail Barbie doll with well-matched head, body, and limbs of a creamy coloring, with the arms having a slight pinkish tone. The face paint is all original with some light rubbing to lips and eyelash edges. The neck nob is original and undamaged, and head moves very easily, and there is a tiny factory bubble at front top edge of the neck, which looks like a pin prick. This doll is in wonderful condition overall, but with some light dingeyness in places, a light greenish mark on upper front of right leg, a small indentation on upper front of left leg and a small one on upper back of right leg, lower legs lean slightly to the right, and there is a 3/8 long surface indentation on lower backside of right arm, and three pin-pricks on top of left foot. There are no missing hairplugs, and the hair is uncut/untrimmed; the ponytail has a new elastic and has been re-wrapped. The original nail polish is about 75%.
