She’s so Mod and hip, but yet always welcomed at high tea by the Queen! Stacey, Barbie’s beautiful English friend seems to channel some Princess Di glamour and style: This TNT Stacey is in Excellent condition with her original one piece red swimsuit. She has beautiful condition platinum hair that is very shiny and smooth. All of her make-up is original, but she has been given a little color wash blush with water-based acrylic paint. If you don’t like it, it is removable with soap and water. Please note that the Kaiser doll stand, Pink Moonbeams and the Mod jumpsuit fashion are not included in this sale; Stacey will come with her original swimsuit only. I don’t rate anything as “Mint” unless I’ve just taken it out of the original packaging. Stacey has shiny thick Platinum hair that is in great condition; her hair has been retied with a bow. She has a few stray hairs, so you might want to retie it. Her spit curls are present at her ears and forehead. Her make-up is all original and unretouched, except for the addition of a little blush. Her face has lightened a little, but evenly all over. She has all of her eyelashes; they’re nice and long. A few of her outer lashes on her left eye (right in the pic) are a little bent. She doesn’t have any earring holes or pale green spots. No neck tears or nose nips. Her TNT body is in Excellent shape, and is marked 1966 Japan on her right hip. She has all of her fingers and toes, fingernail polish, and no poke marks or chews. Her arms and legs hold all positions; her hips are not swingy or springy, but they aren’t super tight like an unplayed with doll. Her knees bend and hold all 3 positions, but her right knee makes soft clicks, while her left knee clicks loudly. Her legs have some faded light spots and some faint reddish mottling/discoloration around her thighs and calves; I think it shows up more on the backs of her legs. Pics #11 & 12 show the slight blotchiness of her leg color pretty accurately. Her legs might have just faded from age. The discoloration is most visible on the upper back and side of her right thigh, see pic #12. You can see a subtle reddish line across her back right thigh. This discoloration is subtle, and isn’t noticeable on casual viewing. But if you look at her legs closely under bright lighting, it is there. If Stacey wears an outfit with hose, it will never show. Her original 1 piece swimsuit has all 3 buttons and no runs in front. There is light soil across the right shoulder bust area. In the back, there are several runs extending from the backs of the armholes down to the bra strap area. There is 3/8 of the edge stitching of the lower cutout in back that needs resewing.
