I took pictures outdoors during a rainy afternoon, so pics turned out a bit dull. Colors are actually much brighter in person. I guess this may be the last doll I sell this year and maybe also the last addition to your collection. I have always been fascinated with all the Hair Fair Barbies, though I must admit that the early ones with longer hairs are my all time favorites. I have read that some collectors call these American Girl Hair fair barbies. If you also love these dolls as much as I do, you will be very pleased with this one. She is in excellent plus gently played with condition and will be a stand out in any mod or vintage collection. Healthy & even peachy pink complexion with no stains, green or pale spots; not as peaches’ cream as new, but still an excellent plus complexion for a mod head. Not yellow, dark, tan or faded like most. She has very tiny earring holes bellow each ear noticed tiny piercing attempts on both ears, clean & smooth with no fading, paling or green at all. Soft & shiny smokey brunette hair with a neat sidepart and a long straight pageboy. No trims or haircuts, no missing hairplugs. If only, just a few fly-away strands. Hair has been played with, combed and brushed, but still is in excellent played with condition. Full set of long straight dark brown eyelashes. 11-12 plugs of lashes in each eye, which seem to be more plugs than average and makes her lashes look thick and awesome. Her face paint looks simply wonderful with full brown eyebrows, side glanced blue eyes, full pink lips and lots of matching blush. Just to be on the safe side, I will grade her face as C9+++++. She is on an excellent pink standard body with 1962 Midge / 1958 Barbie markings and straight legs. Healthy & even peachy-pink complexion all over with no stains or surface marks. Sharp markings on butts. Tight arms and legs. Full set of fingers and toes with nail polish. JAPAN under the left foot toes only. No scratches, cracks, dents or nicks. She’s wearing one of her original 1967 outfits calles SUNFLOWER (stock # 1683). Clean with bright vibrant colors. No stains, fading or bleeding of the colors. No tears, rips or holes. Nice barbie tag and the green neck looks super crispy. The green collar neck piece looks as if it was sewn by hand, but all of the ones I have seen look the same, so I guess it’s a factory stitching. White buttom and hot pink elastic slightly stretched , but still stretchy enough. Shiny hot Pink closed toe shoes marked Japan in crispy condition with no dents, scratches or bites. Sunflower earrings look also super nice and shiny. As long as I know these bracelets must be hot pink as the shoes. Included in separate plstic baggies are her blonde flip wig with bangs and the 3 brunette hairpieces. All in very good played with condition, the blonde flip wig looks super nice with a neat flip. BONUS for the lucky winner I have added a foil & magenta adhesive wrist tag specially made for her. It reads GENUINE BARBIE (logo) by MATTEL / Made in Japan on the back. Also a clear cello band will keep her gorgeous hair neatly in place during the trip to her new home. BARBIE will display almost like a new doll in your vintage or mod collection either in this outfit or in any of her groovy original outfits from the late 60’s or early 70’s.
