1998 PASTEL SEGA SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! UFO PRIZE JAPAN PLUSH TOY DOLL VINTAGE RARE. VERY rare official limited edition pale blue coloured Sonic plush! Part of a set of four, two of which were produced in unique muted / pastel colours, two in distinctive shades of white and cream see our other items for white Sonic! These are more unusual / collectable than your average Sonic plushie, and only available in limited numbers in Japan during 1998. These were never available for sale in stores, only by winning them out of arcade “UFO Catcher” machines! Very cute plush, well stuffed and high quality! Tag reads (C)SEGA 1998, and Sonic measures around 8.5 inches (around 21.5cm) tall. This Sonic is in great condition overall, with all original tags. Cardboard tag is a little worn along the front edge, and a little folded from storage over the years. Sonic does have some tiny loose threads here and there, and some glue-marks on his shoes. Possibly just the way the plush was “finished” and not “flaws” as such but thought I should mention it. Please look carefully at photos to judge condition for yourself! Please note that these are genuinely INCREDIBLY RARE. This is the first one we’ve listed in over 5 years, and I don’t know if / when we’ll find another one. So please don’t miss out if you need him!
