Vintage Japanese Geisha Doll Red Silk Elaborate Kimono & Fancy Disc Shaped Head Piece Gofun Glass Eyes & Human Hair and what it looks like Gofun-smooth Oyster shell face. The doll is on its original stand with a sticker on the bottom stamped Japan. It is a little dusty due to its age. Japanese traditional dolls are known by the name ningy. In Japan, which literally means human shape. Lacquer called gofun made from ground oystershell and glue, and textiles. Condition: The doll looks like it is in excellent condition I only see some light fading on her lipstick. Doll measures 13 1/2″ tall, with the stand 6 1/2″ W x 5 d. Listing includes doll and stand. Antique Vintage Japanese Ichimatsu Girl Doll Glass Eyes Human Hair Silk Kimono

This is a Japanese Ichimatsu doll made in from the 1930s to 1950s. Her height is about 14.5 inches, 37 cm. She is wearing a cute Chrysanthemum pattern silk kimono. The inner seams of a cuff of the right sleeve are loose. The doll is in very good condition. There is no chipping of both hands and feet fingers. There is not much hair loss, the amount of hair is plenty. There is a thin stain due to aging, but it is not so conspicuous. No mark of the doll shop. And tracking on Japanpost web site.
