Vintage 1968 Mattel Barbie Friend Stacey TNT Doll Red Hair Made in Japan 1966

Stacey was Barbie’s mod friend from London, featuring a rooted red hairstyle, blue eyes, and an open-mouth smile with visible teeth. Made in Japan, this body style was used for early TNT dolls with bendable knees and waist rotation. Character: Stacey (Barbie’s London friend). Patented – Made in Japan. Body Type: Twist’N Turn waist with bendable knees. Hair Color: Red / Auburn. Eye Color: Blue with rooted eyelashes. Head Mold: 1968 Stacey Mod face. Country of Manufacture: Japan (first issue). Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Hair retains original color with some frizz and unevenness from age. Face paint intact with minor rubs on cheeks. Body tone consistent with light wear, no cracks or splits. Waist twist and leg bends function as designed. Includes one vintage undergarment (not original outfit). Overall clean and displayable example of a first-issue TNT Stacey. Collector Notes: The Japan-made Twist’N Turn Stacey dolls were among the first Mod-era Barbie friends and were produced for only a short period before manufacturing moved to Taiwan and Korea. Red-haired versions are highly desirable and increasingly hard to find with original rooted lashes and good face paint.

Vintage 1960s TNT Stacey Titian Red Wearing Jump Into Lace #1823

This beautiful Titian Stacey was manufactured in the 1960’s, after 1967. She was made in Japan and is a TNT. She is wearing the Jumpsuit from the 1968 Jump into Lace fashion pak # 1823. The shoes are from 1970s since they were made in Taiwan. The doll has some imperfections on the back of her legs and feet. Please check the pictures! The white piping trim has come away from the fabric. One leg is worse than the other. Her body is dated 1966 and Made in Japan.

Vtg STACEY 1969 1971 Twist N Turn TNT Blonde Barbie Fashion Doll Nude Mattel

She has her original face paint, (slight mark on brow and on forehead) her body has a light texture on right chest. Spot on upper thighpictured, I’ve left it to new owner to remedy. A couple pin pricks on feet. Hair feels pretty soft. She does not appear to have eyelashes. Will be perfect for displaying your mod fashions! Stand is NOT included. 1967 Stacey doll, original Swimsuit, Barbie Mood Matchers outfit #1792, Japan Bow Shoes. Very clean TNT Stacey doll with thick Titian red hair, blue eyes, dark pink lipstick, thick eyelashes, arm waist & leg joints are tight. Japan printed on bottom of both feet. Original red Swimsuit is clean, with 3 white buttons on front, and B/W Stacey label. Also included is vintage Barbie Mood Matchers outfit #1792 consisting of multicolor paisley palazzo Pants, matching sleeveless Top with turquoise attached Bow, zipper at back, pink flat bow Shoes marked Japan, pink plastic earrings. NO seam splits or marks in clothing. Stacey’s left foot has a dent by toes (photo12), a small mark on back of right calf (photos 11,23). No green at ears. 1966 Mattel Inc, US Patented US Pat Pend Made in Japan printed on Stacey’s bottom.
