This is an absolutely gorgeous1961 #5 Brunette ponytail Barbie Doll. She is in super nice condition. Beautiful face color, nice clean body her hair in back is a bit frizzy. I cannot get a good close up of her bottom. She is truly a beauty in super nice condition. I bought her from the original owner and this in the information that they gave me.

LITSTED IS A BEAUTIFUL RAVEN HAIRED PONYTAIL BARBIE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A #5. FACE PAINT IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. VERY SMALL RUBBING TO THE TOP LIP AND TIP OF MOLDED RIGHT EYELASH. SMALL AMOUNT OF GREASYNESS TO FACE WHICH IS KNOWN FOR THE #5’S. HAS A PIERCING IN EACH EAR BUT NO GREEN PRESENT. HAIR IS WITHOUT CUTS OR MISSING PLUGS. HAIR IS IN ORIGINAL STYLE BUT HAS BEEN REDONE WITH A NEW BAND. NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION BUT STILL NICE. IS ON A #8 BARBIE BODY THAT IS A LIGHT FEELING VERSION. NAILS HAVE ABOUT 90% POLISH AND MATCH HER RED LIPS. TOE NAILS DO NOT HAVE ANY POLISH. AS PICTURED THERE IS A SMALL SPOT ON THE BACK OF RIGHT CALF. LIMBS ARE NICE AND TIGHT. SHE COMES WEARING HER ORIGINAL SWIMSUIT, BLACK JAPAN HEELS, AND A PAIR OF WHITE SUNGLASSES. NOT SURE IF THOSE ARE ORIGINAL TO THIS DOLL BUT HAVE BEEN ADDED. Beautiful brunette with Barbie tm pats pending, Japan markings flocked scalp. Please see all pics – her legs are darker in back. No green ear no split neck. All original makeup nails. I did not undo her ponytail wanted to leave for new owner to decide. Her outfit is partial from 0876- cheerleader set 1963 original sweater shoes pompom under the sweater she has on is a one piece dress with shorts under skirt. Smoke and pet free home.

Vintage Barbie Doll Ponytail # 4 Brunette with Swimsuit 1960s Mattel

Vintage Barbie Doll Ponytail # 4 Brunette w/ Swimsuit 1960s Mattel. This is a gorgeous example of an early Barbie. Eyes are blue with blue eyeliner. She has a beautiful full head of hair swept up into a ponytail. Her makeup is pretty great. I don’t think a touchup is necessary. Fingernails and toenails are perfect. Japan is marked on the bottom of her foot. There is no green ear or splits in her neck. Her body looks great. There are two pinprick holes on her left breast. They are not very big, but need to be noted. Molding marks can be seen on her thighs. TM markings above Barbie on her buttocks. She is dressed in her original striped swimsuit. Vintage #3/4 transitional brunette ponytail Barbie blue eyeliner in OSS

Please read full description. Barbie is brunette, she does have hair cut/breakage but still pretty bangs and in a ponytail as shown. Her make up is nice, I just touched up eye ridges with black acrylic paint, otherwise all original. Her head and pale TM torso are #3 arms and legs may be #4. Very very end tip of thumb is a tad clipped as shown in photo. I took as many photos as possible PLEASE check out photos and description.
