Japan Vintage Japan Celluloid 21 Doll. Here we have a large 21 bent leg celluloid doll. He has the usual rubs, marks and scuffs. The elasticity is excellent so it must have been replaced at some point. His left leg has a small dent and adjacent to this is a tight hairline with a tiny hole on the underside of the knee. The glue line or seam (on the calf area) may need re-adhering should one be bothered by it. The leg by no means is unstable. It would require some pressure to flex the leg to expose this hairline, so it will respond well with some adhesive (see photos). Overall he is a great example and quite handsome too. Sizes are always approximate. Please assume doll’s need bathing and cleaning prior to children playing with them. Please feel free to ask any questions.
