Vintage 1965 American Girl BARBIE DOLL Bendable Legs #1070 marked Japan. Offered is a vintage Barbie doll. From what I have been able to learn she is from 1965 #1070. The number on her left buttocks is 6. She has strawberry blonde or light titan hair. The back of her head doesnt seem to have plugs for hair, so she appears bald on back. Perhaps a careful hairdo will hide the issue. Also, it looks as though some of her hair color has spread onto her face. She has a triangle of red on one temple. Her lips are pale. She has fingernail polish. Her face, arms and legs are darker than her torso. Her face is the darkest. She has the’1958 Mattel Inc. Made in Japan’ mark on her bottom. The doll could use a cleaning. Please feel free to ask questions. I dont know enough about Barbies to point out all of her flaws and assets. I can only describe what I see. I may have missed something significant.
