BARBIE Vintage #2619 JAPANESE JAPAN Fashion TNT MOD Rare WHITE DRESS – not complete. Dress has issues, please read below description. This is a STUNNING example from the glamorous and coveted BARBIE JAPANESE market period outfit from 1959 -68 for a fraction of the current market price, but has some issues. BARBIEs simple off white textured column dress is a statement in understatement. The dress is clean and stain-free, BUT has a few front & back areas on the skirt portion that have been mended nicely. The fabric is delicate and has to be treated with gentle hands. Please see detail picture # for more clarification marketed with green topped straight pins- front (pic 6) & back (pic 8) with areas that have been lovingly mended. This dress has its original back metal snap, a replaced green ribbon and original pink flower worn just below the bust. A BARBIE label is in the interior back seam seam (pic 10). The dress DOES NOT have its matching coat or Opera length gloves. The fabric is not too fragile, just vintage and has to be handled with CARE. The dress comes on a new clear plastic body form. Please note that my titian TNT is just modeling this gorgeous look. This dress DOES NOT come with a DOLL. Just wanted the viewer to see how Mattel marketed this CHIC look for the JAPANESE market in the late 1960s. Condition is gently handled vintage with repairs. The repairs do not take away from the overall beauty of this dress. It actually is gorgeous and a fraction of the Complete outfits price. I might have missed a minor detail.
