Vintage 1964 Mattel Skipper Platinum Blonde SL Doll #950 RARE. This doll was among the first Mattel Skipper dolls introduced in 1964-66 (its hip is marked 1963, foot is marked Japan). It has straight non-bendable legs, long platinum straight blonde hair and long bangs, blue eyes and pale pink lips. The platinum blonde hair is rare especially in this condition (last photo in this listing is to compare hair color to another separately listed blonde Skipper doll not included in this listing). This doll is wearing its original red cotton swimsuit and red flat shoes. Overall, the doll is in very good vintage condition with very mild “played with” surface wear. The swimsuit has good color, the elastic is stretched out on the legs and there’s some fraying at leg openings, and a bit of storage grime on the bodice striped section. The red shoes are in very good vintage condition. All items listed are clean and free from foul odors.
