Vintage 1969 AA JULIA TNT Doll Diahann Carroll in Jumpsuit Mattel. Scroll down for larger views. This is a vintage doll from the early Barbie line. Diahann Carroll was an African American or Black actress, star of the TV Series JULIA. The doll was made in 1969 by Mattel. Her face is excellent, with brown coloring, original paint, blushed cheeks, brown eyes, & pink lips. Plus good brush lashes. Just a tiny rub on her bottom lip. Hair has oxidized from black to reddish, as has happened to most of these Julia dolls. Good & full with just a tiny glue mark on the front scalp (see photo). Body is also nice with excellent coloring & tight limbs. She has a TNT waist and each leg bends, clicks, & holds 3 times. Julia wears an original sparkly jumpsuit w/attached belt. This outfit originally came on the Talking Julia Doll. Outfit in very good condition with just light normal wear. Plus white pilgrim shoes.
