Vintage 1962 Black Bubble Cut Barbie Doll in Original Red Swimsuit. Scroll down for larger views. This is a Bubble Cut Barbie, made in 1962 by Mattel. She has her early marked’Barbie’ body and a Bubble Cut hairstyle. Her face is excellent, with good coloring and paint, blue eyes & ruby lips. May be a slight touch-up on lips? No earrings & no green ear. Hair is black, full & clean in the original bouffant set. Body is also nice with excellent coloring. Reddish nail polish is mostly intact. One arm is just slightly swingy, but everything else is tight. Barbie wears an original 1962 red knit swimsuit, in very good condition.
