This is a rare ash blonde longer page boy hairstyle American Girl Barbie fashion doll #1070, produced by Mattel Inc. In Japan in 1958. She stands at 29 cm (12 inch) tall. The doll’s body is made of hard plastic, with a softer rubber head and bendable legs. The doll is in very good condition for her age, with no neck splits and all joints secure. Her hands and feet are also in good condition. The doll’s make-up and red finger nail polish are still bright, although the eyelashes have been slightly rubbed off. There are some discolorations on the legs and a slight hole, and there is a small stain on the back of one leg (pictured). Additionally, the doll has no outfit. Despite her imperfections, the doll’s hair is still dense and in excellent condition, with no missing hair plugs. All joints work well and the legs bend and stay in place.
