A very unique and stately geisha wearing a fine stripped silk kimono patterned with flying cranes. The doll is in flawless condition after 50+ years. Her “gofun” oyster shell paint finish on face, hands and feet are perfect. She wears elaborate “kanzashi” hair ornaments and stands on a broad black lacquer base. This doll is a real collectors item based on its quality craftsmanship, details and materials. She stands at 18 tall. A great addition to the serious collector’s collection.
