Vintage 1970 Mattel Growin’ Pretty Hair Francie Doll in Displayable Condition

This is a vintage Mattel Growin’ pretty hair “Francie” doll from 1970 & in good displayable condition. She is marked on her backside 1966, Mattel inc, US pat. Her eyelashes are nice and thick, she has no earring holes, and her hair still looks good. Her makeup looks fine, complexion (head), has yellowed… Very common with this doll. To me, her face looks a tad greasy? I did see a tiny (blue) bruised area on the inside of one knee. Her original dress does show some wear… Typical with this outfit. She is wearing pink squishy heels, marked Japan, (one has a blue spot on the outside). Overall, this doll still displays fine. I do not know whether her hair still retracts. I really don’t want to pull at her ponytail and risk the chance of breaking her. I’m just going to say that it doesn’t, since I can’t test it. Francie does need a replacement rubber band in her hair, I will be providing two pink (new) rubber bands that you can use. This doll is not for the “minty” collector, it is a very good starter doll for a vintage Barbie/Francie collection. These pictures were taken with a flash, as it’s a little later in the evening here. I try and describe all the flaws that would matter to me, but I might have missed something very minor. Please check out my other listings for more Barbie dolls.

Midge 1962 Japan RARE HTF Side-Glancing Eyes. Sassy And Exceptional Condition

RARE HTF Original 1962 Japan Midge Doll w/Side-Glancing Eyes. This is the one Midge that you need for your collection. There is NO DISCERNIBLE DAMAGE OR DEFECT on this girl. She has no missing hair and her flip is intact but it could maybe use a comb out because it’s a little fuzzy. Her outfit, which is the original swimsuit that Midge came in, is in terrific condition with no discernible defects or damage. Her shoes are in excellent condition. Her box shows its age with discoloration and some damage to the edges. The catalog is in great condition. The item came from an estate sale and was released by the original owner. That owner got this Midge for her birthday as a little girl and kept her until she released her beloved Midge doll to me. Vintage Barbie, Blonde, Ponytail # 4 1960 JAPAN TM Solid Body Used Condition

This is a gorgeous, vintage #4 ponytail Barbie by Mattel. Her face paint is impeccable, in my opinion, and she has her fingernail and toenail paint intact. She has a solid, heavy body and I have photographed the marking on her bottom. She has a little bit of chipping at the joint of one leg as photographed. She also has some green ear as shown. This is a Japanese doll. This girl’s name is MUSUMI. This is a doll made to wish for the growth of a girl. This doll is wearing a beautiful kimono, and no other doll has the same pattern. This is 30 years old. However, it is in beautiful condition as if it were new. Especially the kimono made of silk is wonderful. The kimono this doll is wearing is not removable. The doll and the stand are glued together and cannot be removed. The attached nameplate has been removed. The glass case to keep this doll cannot be included. Material:resin, silk, wood. Size:Stand Height 24am Width 33cm. Doll Height 36cm Width 27cm Depth 23cm. Place of production: Japan.

Vintage Barbie #3 Brunette Hair Vintage Doll Good condition

Lots of brunette hair. (The black ribbon is not original). The skin has a moist texture. White pink skin color. (In the photo, the skin looks a little yellowish). There is a scar on the right side of the back, about 5 mm. Paint on the back right shoulder side neck? Something like a very thin line on the tip. There is a gap in the neck and face area. There is a thin dent on the left thigh. If you own a vintage Barbie, you know that it has a unique scent. Barbie box mark is R with deterioration and tape correction. Swimsuits have no markings. The stamp on the body is TM. There are some scratches and dirt. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” Because declared value is insured value.
