This listing is for a VINTAGE BENDABLE LEG MIDGE DOLL ASH BLONDE (Barbie’s best friend) (1965) with ORIGINAL BOX, SWIMSUIT, GOLD WIRE STAND, and FASHION BOOKLET IN CELLO WITH TURQUOISE OPEN-TOE SHOES MARKED JAPAN. She has very nice full blonde hair with no haircuts or missing plugs. There are no earring holes and NO GREEN EVER! She has great original makeup with coral lips and no touch ups. She has most of her fingernail polish but no toenail polish. The original box is marked Ash Blonde and is also in very good condition for its age split corners. This is an authentic 1963 Titian (Redhead) Bubblecut Barbie on the correct period-accurate straight-leg Midge/Barbie body. This doll is a “true survivor” with 100% original, untouched factory face paint, no restorations or repaints have been performed. Face & Makeup: Features crisp, original blue side-glancing eyes and coral-toned lips. Vinyl Condition: The face exhibits “snowing” (white oxidation spots) common in 1960s vinyl, serving as a hallmark of its vintage age. Shoulders have some markings. Hair: Thick, full Titian redhead Bubblecut; the hair is in its original factory set with no visible missing plugs or trims. Body Markings: Right hip is clearly stamped: MidgeT 1962 / Barbie® 1958 / by Mattel, Inc. Articulation: Classic straight-leg style with “tippy-toe” feet designed for vintage heels. Coloration: Shows typical vintage “mismatched” fading where the torso has lightened more than the limbs and head. Nail Polish: Partial original coral/red polish remains on the hands, with heavier fading on the feet. Standing height is approximately 11.5 to 12 inches. Doll ONLY stand NOT included. No other body flaws that I can see — each could use a little scrubbing, but they really look very nice. One arm on Brunette, one arm on Blonde, and one arm on Redhead are a little swingy, but each can still hold a pose. Vtg 1963 Mattel Barbie & Midge Dolls Clothes Lot Case 60’s Red Japan Nurse READ

Comes with everything seen in photos. With a 24 photo limit is hard to get photos of everything. Both dolls are in good condition. Both are marked Japan. Ponytail Barbie has dirty legs. She has a large bald spot on the top of her head, I assume this is meant to be covered up by ponytail but unsure. Midge is in good condition. Several of the outfits are in need of repair. I have only listed big issues. Most have some loose threads. Black and white dress is missing a snap. Blue and white striped dress needs one side of strap sewn back on. Registered Nurse dress #991 has a small brown stain on the back. Suburban Shopper Dress #969 Blue and White Dress has a hole in the center of abdomen part. Basket Bag is also missing some contents. Red Rust Polka Dot Dress PAK in good condition. Solid Red dress missing a gold button on front of dress. Green velvet dress has a large tear in the side. Some of the hats are fraying. Yellow purse has broken strap. Booklets are a little wrinkled and one is missing cover. Case has some tears and a broken/missing piece inside of one of the corners.
