Vintage Barbie Japanese Exclusive Dressed in 972 Wedding Day

While going through our storage, we ran upon four (4) storage containers of dolls. For those who knows me, fashions is my thing, so please review all photos before purchasing as I may have miss something that’s important to you in my description. Be on the look out for more dolls.. Needs to free up space for my fashions. Up for your consideration. Japanese Exclusive Ponytail Barbie. She has great face paint and her fingernails and toes polish are in good condition. Hair has not been trimmed nor is there any missing plug. Her hair still have the hard curl on the end. There’s no green ears. Body is in fantastic shape. Also included is her VHTF pedestal base & stand with nice lettering and no chips or cracks but minor scuffs on the top. Box has Japanese tariff sticker on the inside and Japanese stock number on end of box. She’s wearing 972 Wedding Day dress, comes with the panties, veil and necklace. There a rip on the top right side of the overlap. Clothes are wrinkled by being stored in the box with the doll. The box is in good condition with one tear on the left lower corner. I have tried to describe item(s) to the best of my ability. NOTE: I’m not the original owner and cannot promise that they were not exposed to smoke or pets. Vintage Barbie #5 5 Ponytail Brunette NUPTUALLY BRILLIANT in WEDDING DAY SET

Lets talk Barbie first – GLOSSY, RAVEN HAIR, SALN-FRESH AND UPSWEPT into a prim ballet bun, BEAUTIFUL NON-GREASY COMPLEXION with subtly refreshed makeup and safe pearl earrings. Her early Barbie-Only body is EQUALLY IMPRESSIVE with PLEASING STANCE WITH CLOSE-SET FEET, FULL SET OF ORIGINAL RED FINGER ENAMEL and VERY CLEAN, too! Please note the extremely faint bruising on her right arm – not terribly noticeable at all and that shes had a haircut along the way, resulting in a ponytail of approximately 1.5 in length. Each earring HOLE is darkened, but NO GREEN, NO NIPS AND NO SPLITS! This MAGNIFICENT GOWN is, frankly, VERY FUSSY owing to its delicate fabric and its difficult to find one in such FINE SHAPE with NO WEIRD HOLES IN THE SLEEVES OR BODICE FRONT. The are a couple condition issues, however, on the bodice back, including a vintage repair on the left and hole on the left, as detailed on the picture. The gown is accessorized with vintage veil with pearl corona, bouquet and vintage white open heels – all in GREAT condition! Just a TERRIFIC DISPLAY BEAUTY, no? Barbie Trousseau Trunk & Wedding Set With Dolls RARE hard to find set with all the accessories. Ken is in Tuxedo outfit # 787 (1961 booklet) and Barbies in Brides Dream #947 (1962 Booklet). All Original Vintage Mint items. Please note that I had to replace elastic on Kens bow tie , it is common for 60 year old elastic to lose it’s stretch. Also the inside of the Trosseau trunk has some cigarette burns unfortunately a lot of people smoked in the 60s. This case is not from my collection. I obtained it from another collector, but it is stunning, but not mint on the inside. The Barbie is a 1963 Fashion Queen and she comes with three gorgeous interchangeable wigs and the stand is in the case. I will include a lovely Vintage Zebra Swimsuit for her. Ken is a 1962 Blonde painted hair Ken doll with a very slight area of missing paint that who ever buys can very easily touch up. Since I like to keep the dolls as close to original as I can, I will leave that to whom ever buys the set to do with as they please. Please note the strand of pearls is a Vintage 1961 item and will cause discoloration , so don’t leave it on your doll. I have placed some silicon safe pearl earrings in her ears that will not tarnish. Please blow up pics and see all items and ask any questions.
