Barbie VINTAGE Brownette SIDE PART Bend Leg AMERICAN GIRL BARBIE Doll
Not mint but nice for display. Dolls have been wiped down with a damp cloth but could use a little cleaning. Head has no repaints, reroots, splits, nips, green, trimmed or empty plugs. Face paint is complete. Hair has been professionally reset with original defined thatched part an replaced hair ribbon. Shallow pinpricks on her face as shown but no earring holes so no green. Body is marked 1958 in indented letters and raised Made in Japan with t ight arms and hips. No splits or pinpricks. She will come dressed in her original swimsuit. There is no “best offer” option on this listing. Now for the fine print: DESCRIPTION Smoke free home but the previous environment may not have been smoke/pet free. Any odors detected will be addressed. Condition grades like “mint”, “near mint”, etc. Are very subjective so I don’t use them. Vintage 60s Barbie Side Part Blonde Bubble Cut WithBox Orig SS Shoes No green WOW
This is a very pretty early 60s, blonde bubble cut Barbie. She comes with her original box (hard to find, especially in this condition) red helenca swimsuit and red open toes shoes. Her bubble hair is nice and tight and still maintains some of the curl. No missing plugs or other detractions in her hair. Her face is gorgeous. I believe it to be the American girl face. It is so pretty! There is a tiny speck of paint missing in one eye in the blue pupil- only noticeable upon very close inspection. One eyebrow is perfect, but the other, that is covered by the hair is only partial. No green ear, no neck splits. Her light pink lipstick has faded but is still slightly visible. Her nails are near complete. I would say 85% on the fingers and 95% on the toes which is rare. Her body is super clean. Her limbs are very tight and hold position easily. Her original box is included. It is in really nice condition. Very white and bright. One corner of the lid has a small split. Truly a rare find in this condition and with so many pieces of her original ensemble. As mentioned one red shoe does have a split, easily replaceable. Still holds on for display nicely. Vintage Blonde Original Side Part American Girl Barbie Suit Shoes Booklet 1965
Gorgeous Vintage Ash Blonde Side Part American Girl Barbie in Original Striped Swimsuit and Turquoise Heels/Mules from the mid-60’s. She comes with a Barbie Booklet featuring the the “American Girl” illustrations. I bought her for myself but have since decided to pare down my personal collection. I don’t want all these pretty dolls just sitting in a closet. This American Girl is just so lovely. I’m not certain, but I’m thinking the ribbon is a replacement from that time. She has her original face paint. Her lips have faded to a butter yellow. She has a little bit of rubbing to her eye ridges. They could be be touched up, if desired. There is also a little bit of a clear residue on the right hand side of her face. I haven’t tried to clean it off. Her body is in nice condition with most of it’s coral pink fingernail polish. No neck splits or green ear. A few pink marks on her arms (please see close up photos) and a light bluish dot on her upper back. Her right leg clicks 3 times, but her right leg no longer does. Her swimsuit is in nice used condition. Some slight fading and fabric wear. No splits in the shoes. The bottom of the left shoe marked Japan. I added a booklet featuring Barbie with the American Girl hairstyle on the front. It includes the 1600 fashions but does have some wear and wrinkling. I think this doll is so beautiful. But, since I’m not the original owner, or an expert I’m not able to make any guarantees about her. Please inspect the photos carefully and let me know if you have any questions.
