Vintage Quintuplet Penny Doll Set, Antique Porcelain Made in Japan Toys

Super adorable Vintage Quintuplet Penny Doll Set, possibly the Dionne Quintuplets? Set includes 5 Antique Porcelain Made in Japan Toy Dolls, each sitting in a small porcelain bathtub. Couple of Tubs are faintly marked Japan. Excellent vintage condition, with Definite signs of age and wear, including subtle loss of facial features, one has a natural fissure in the lap, one has a little extra untrimmed clay on hip. They do certainly have a “Primitive” quality about them. Each measures about 2″ foot to head, little tubs is 2.5″ x 1.5″ wide x 2.25″ tall at back of tub. Great all original dolls with nurse that have never been removed from their box. Each doll is bisque and their facial features and shoes are hand painted. Although the dolls have never been removed from the box they do show wear.

Antique 3 Composition Quintuplet Dolls Made In Japan

Up for your consideration is antique 3 composition quintuplets dolls, made in Japan. They have hinged arms, and straight legs. They are still attached to the original cardboard and bunting. I bought these many years ago from our local antiques and collectibles store. I have yet to find another like it. They need cleaning and there is paint wear. One has a chip on its foot. I think these could be so sweet dresses up in little dresses and bonnets. Please zoom in on he photos to view these dolls and get a better idea of condition. Vintage Darling 1930’s Bisque Jointed Dionne Quintuplet 5 Dolls Made in Japan

This is a darling set of quintuplet dolls made in the 1930’s after the Dionne quintuplets were born. They are 5 1/4 high, arms and legs move. They are attached with string. The paint on their faces is in very good condition; reddish blonde hair, blue eyes, dark brows, rosy cheeks and a pink mouth. The dolls mouths are open a little in order to hold on to the paper pacifier. There are 2 pacifiers that have bent a little and are somewhat hard to insert. The dolls come with their own dress, pacifier, diaper and an extra diaper in each box. There is a cute printed dress on each doll and. 3 extra dresses and 2 jump suits are included. I don’t know if these are original or not. 2 of the dresses are cut out but not sewn. Each doll is in it’s own box, no lid. Overall condition is excellent. These have been stored for a long time, they look brand new. Dolls are marked on their backs: Made in Japan.
