Vintage Blonde First Issue Bubble Cut Barbie Original Striped Suit Stand Shoes. Marked Barbie R on her tush, I believe this is a first issue Bubble cut Barbie. Hollow number 5 body? In good vintage condition for her age. She had very slight green ear, which I treated with CLR. Can’t see it now but wanted to disclose it. No neck splits, all fingernail and toenail polish is in good condition. Legs and arms are tight. Make up looks nice. Original vintage striped swimsuit and wire stand. Shoes are not marked Japan so may have been a later edition or maybe two that were unmarked that were separated from the marked shoe. Vintage Blonde Original Side Part American Girl Barbie Suit Shoes Booklet 1965

Gorgeous Vintage Ash Blonde Side Part American Girl Barbie in Original Striped Swimsuit and Turquoise Heels/Mules from the mid-60’s. She comes with a Barbie Booklet featuring the the “American Girl” illustrations. I bought her for myself but have since decided to pare down my personal collection. I don’t want all these pretty dolls just sitting in a closet. This American Girl is just so lovely. I’m not certain, but I’m thinking the ribbon is a replacement from that time. She has her original face paint. Her lips have faded to a butter yellow. She has a little bit of rubbing to her eye ridges. They could be be touched up, if desired. There is also a little bit of a clear residue on the right hand side of her face. I haven’t tried to clean it off. Her body is in nice condition with most of it’s coral pink fingernail polish. No neck splits or green ear. A few pink marks on her arms (please see close up photos) and a light bluish dot on her upper back. Her right leg clicks 3 times, but her right leg no longer does. Her swimsuit is in nice used condition. Some slight fading and fabric wear. No splits in the shoes. The bottom of the left shoe marked Japan. I added a booklet featuring Barbie with the American Girl hairstyle on the front. It includes the 1600 fashions but does have some wear and wrinkling. I think this doll is so beautiful. But, since I’m not the original owner, or an expert I’m not able to make any guarantees about her. Please inspect the photos carefully and let me know if you have any questions. Vtg SKIPPER Barbies Little Sister #0950 Blonde W/Pedestal In S. Suit IN ORIG BOX. Doll has some “flaking” on her face. From my research I have learned this is considered degrading or white powder caused by leeching plasticizer. There are no known ways to stop the plastics from degrading but can cosmetically treat the problem. Box has minor wear from storage including writing on the bottom of the box. Doll comes pedestal, bathing suit, shoes and booklet. Bathing suit is in good condition with no rips or tears. Her hair is in nice condition, however around her hair frame there is some discoloration, green threading. I have photographed this up close for your review. Doll appears to be in good condition. Limbs are in good working order. No major marks or stains. Stand is in good condition with no bends. Shoes are in nice condition. She has a red tie around her hair. I do not believe this is original. Hoping someone may be able to use her head, arms, legs etc. Made in Japan, stamped Japan on the one foot. There is a #2 on her left butt cheek. This is a Barbie from my moms collection that sadly has not made it out of storage as well as we had hoped. She has a crack on her back upper shoulders as well as her one legs broke off where the body leg cavity broke/cracked. Wigs are in great overall condition! Her hair is also in decent shape.
