Vintage Mattel 1959 #1 Blonde Ponytail Barbie With White Iris, Pointed Boomerang Style Brows, Holes in Feet & Dressed in Original Clothing. Please look at all 24 photos & Read this write up. DOLL MODEL / MOLD NUMBER: Number 1 / #1 850 DOLL MARKINGS: There are markings on right bum cheek reads: Barbie TM Pats Pending c MCMLVIII On the other cheek reads “82” (See photos) ANTIQUE, VINTAGE OR MODERN: Original Vintage. She is in all original. She does not have any repainting on her face or body. Her clothing & shoes with holes are all original. Her hair is nice condition and is thick but needs to be restyled in the ponytail. She has no missing hair plugs. She does NOT have green ears, any neck splits or nose nips. However, she does have some dirt or something on her face. I was afraid to wash it off I did not want to do damage to her face paint. I will let new owner clean her. She is missing her original hoop earrings. She has a wonderful head. Her Body: Her body is where she has the most issues. Her arms & legs are excellent. Her feet & fingers both have original polish & NO chew marks or missing fingers. Her only problem is: The knob on the neck that holds the head on the body broke off. It looks as though the previous owner tried to fix it by inserting a nail in the neck of the doll which caused the neck to split. I would imagine it could be removed & repaired with milliput or some other material. Or perhaps you could use her body for parts. She has the holes in the bottom of her feet. There is only 1 metal cylinder in her foot I think she is missing the other one. She is still a lovely doll. Maybe you have a perfect torso but are missing a good head. She has an excellent head. If you ever wanted or been in search of a number #1 then this Barbie would be the doll for you. She is a stunning #1 Barbie. She is a wonderful Vintage #1. The Holy Grail of Barbies. This is hard to find. You are getting 7 pieces of the clothing set: three white clothing pieces: the top, skirt, pants. Four plaid clothing pieces: The halter, blazer, skirt, and pants. No holes or tears on any of the pieces. The blazer is missing the white flower. Not super heavy dingy. Few minor pop stitches mostly on the white halter. Working Snaps on pieces that have snaps. Overall a displayable outfit. Photos in natural light. All flaws shown in the close ups. BARBIE Vintage #2619 JAPANESE JAPAN Fashion TNT MOD Rare WHITE DRESS – not complete. Dress has issues, please read below description. This is a STUNNING example from the glamorous and coveted BARBIE JAPANESE market period outfit from 1959 -68 for a fraction of the current market price, but has some issues. BARBIEs simple off white textured column dress is a statement in understatement. The dress is clean and stain-free, BUT has a few front & back areas on the skirt portion that have been mended nicely. The fabric is delicate and has to be treated with gentle hands. Please see detail picture # for more clarification marketed with green topped straight pins- front (pic 6) & back (pic 8) with areas that have been lovingly mended. This dress has its original back metal snap, a replaced green ribbon and original pink flower worn just below the bust. A BARBIE label is in the interior back seam seam (pic 10). The dress DOES NOT have its matching coat or Opera length gloves. The fabric is not too fragile, just vintage and has to be handled with CARE. The dress comes on a new clear plastic body form. Please note that my titian TNT is just modeling this gorgeous look. This dress DOES NOT come with a DOLL. Just wanted the viewer to see how Mattel marketed this CHIC look for the JAPANESE market in the late 1960s. Condition is gently handled vintage with repairs. The repairs do not take away from the overall beauty of this dress. It actually is gorgeous and a fraction of the Complete outfits price. I might have missed a minor detail. Vintage #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll Blue Eyeliner White T. M. Body

Beautiful Vintage Blonde #3 Ponytail Barbie with rare blue eyeliner. She does have a few spots that may come off. She has a slight red stain that might come off. I have not tried to clean this doll. I don’t want to take the chance of ruining her. She doesn’t have any neck splits. Her nail polish is present. She is missing some toenail polish on one foot. There is a tiny bit there. Her arms and legs hold position. She has a very white ghostly skin tone. This doll is all original with NO touch ups. She is marked with the T. M on her rear. One foot is stamped Japan. She comes with her original swim suit, white sunglasses and black open toe shoes. Please look at the pictures so that you can get your own opinion of her condition. 3 Vintage Barbie Bubblecut Lot White Ginger Fudge Brunette Titian Redhead BIN

Here’s a trio of lovelies that show how uniquely different Bubblecuts can be! These bubbles all date from between 1961-64; but with their different face molds, make-up, and hairdos; each has a distinctive look and personality. These dolls have been played with, but they have made it through the years with not too many signs of wear. Our lovely White Ginger Bubblecut has all original make-up except for retouched lavendar lips. She reminds me of Marilyn Monroe in the vintage movie “Niagra”. She has the smaller face mold of the early bubbles and the dark turquoise eyes typical of White Ginger bubblecuts. No green ears, nose nips, or neck splits. She has matte vinyl with no greasiness. Her hair is still a fairly light blonde shade, and she has a smoothly waved bubble. Her body has the earlier Barbie MCMLVIII marking, and is in Excellent shape with no stains. She has all of her red nail polish. She does have a poke mark on her left upper arm (see the 2nd to last pic for close-up), and some light scratches on her right shoulder blade and upper back right thigh. Her joints hold all poses. Not to be overlooked is a sexy Titian Redhead Bubble! She definitely looks like Lucille Ball from the Lucy Show days. She has the later chubbier American Girl face mold and lots of the lighter colored red hair used in the later bubblecuts. Her coral lips have been retouched, but her brows are original. They are a bit light, but all there. Her face is a bit tan, but she looks great in vivid colors. No green ears, nose nips or neck tears. She has several tap marks at her left ear and one on her cheek as shown in the close-up pic; her left ear has 2 pokes at the earlobe. Her Near Mint body is stamped with the later Midge 1962/Barbie 1958 marking. No stains, chews or poke marks, and she has all of her nail polish. The Fudge Brunette Bubblecut has a bit of a sassy attitude! She also has the chubbier AG face mold with lots of wavy dark hair! I like the curl at the right side of her face (left in the pic), much like side part bubblecuts have. Her light coral lips were retouched as they had rubs. Her brows were light so they were color-washed. No green ears, nose nips, or neck tears. Her body is marked with the later Midge 1962/Barbie 1958 stamp. It’s in Excellent condition with no stains. There’s a little scratching at the breast tips and at the shoulder blades. She has all of her nail polish. These gals will love to model your vintage Barbie fashions! Recent Estate Sale find and it is AMAZING! 100% Vintage all Original it came with a Vintage Barbie #3 Blonde PONYTAIL with blue eyeliner that I currently have in my store as well. HERE ARE THE FLAWS I CAN FIND. Hand sewn gloves are a little dingy from storage. Booklet has all pages but also has wrinkles, writing inside, bends and some small tears but VHTF to have this with the original 1959 outfits. Yellow velvet purse stays open, it doesnt hold with the closure shut. Otherwise this is an amazing amazing set.
