Vintage Boxed Mattel 1968 Made Japan Brunette SKIPPER Doll & Box Stand Headband
Skipper remains beautiful condition with perfect shiney brunette hair with no hair cuts or missing plugs etc and beautiful high colouring to face and perfect body. She has no bites, chews or breaks and really is a perfect example of a very hard to find vintage Mattel Skipper Made in Japan doll. She wears her complete oriignal red and white outfit in a swimsuit style and this remains mint condition likewise her shoes and headband are perfect. She comes complete with her original stand and in original box. Side of the box stock number 0950 (Brunette) Skipper Barbie’s little sister with stand Imported from Japan c. Stand is perfect condition and original box remains very good condition but has come away at the seams on one side (attached to the end) on the lid and one side seam away on the base – scuffs around edges consistent with age and storage however still a very good clean vintage box. Overall a beautiful doll remaining in exceptional vintage displayed condition and a lovely example of a vintage very hard to find Brunette Mattel vintage Skipper doll to both doll and outfit. SHe is lovely but someone rerooted her hair and redid her make up. Her upper body did not lighten as much as her legs. Her limbs are all there and tight holding all positions – has a couple of marks on the back on her legs that I did not try to clean.
