MINT IN BOX RARE JAPAN TAMMY DOLL. Japanese Only Issue KIMONO Outfit. This is an extremely rare Tammy Doll, unlike the USA issued dolls this doll was only issued for the Japanese market. The outfit is different and not issued anywhere else except these boxed dolls, it is the mot beautiful and detailed kimono. She is MINT in the box with the original wrapper still on her head and her hair is in the original fine hairnet with bobby pins. She has the full outfit that you an see in the photos which is mint condition and so stunning. Well made with lovely details. Includes shoes, socks and knickers plus a lovely hairpiece. The stand you can see is also in the box. The box may have minor wear and tear from age but you can see in the photos it is in great condition. There is also a small “stamp” piece of paper in the box – see photos. The pale face is “normal” with these dolls it is due to the vinyl used which is different to the US dolls and faded with time to white or even in some cases to a greenish tinge. Box Excellent, Doll excellent with a little fading on face and arms. The cello band that was on head has fallen off and is in bottom of box by feet. Mint boxed 1960s Mattel Standard Barbie doll wearing original swimsuit with light brown hair. Barbie looks to have not been played with but may have been on display. She has excellent face paint with no discolouration, maybe slight pale spot on nose tip. Her hair is perfect, soft and silky and still tied in original set, she has no missing plugs. She is missing her hair ribbon. Barbie’s body is in excellent condition, all limbs are nice and stiff and tight to the body. She is marked on her bum Midge (c)1962 Barbie (c)1958 by Mattel Inc. She has all fingers and toes and no chew marks or other major marks. Her original swimsuit is in excellent condition with flower motif still attached. The box is in good condition with only minor wear to corners. Are your descriptions accurate? I have been collecting Barbie’s for 30+ years, and need to thin it out, if I can’t display it, or have duplicates or more, than I will be listing them. Vintage #3 Ponytail Barbie. Brown eyeshadow, Blue eyes, Raven hair, in great shape, faded face, arms and legs, to a white ivory, torso is also starting to fade. New earrings, shoes and sunglasses. Box is in rough shape, but it works. She is a real beauty, and if your looking for pale white/ivory, raven haired #3, she would be a great addition to a collection. She also has the rare stamped foot, which is JAPAN in a small rectangle box on her foot, instead of spread out on her foot. Her only flaw is a tiny tiny spot on her chin, you can see it on the picture, I haven’t tried to clean it off, as I don’t like to mess with my dolls to much. VERY Rare Vintage Item for the Tammy Collector, Vintage Japanese exclusive Dressed Tammy in the box. These are getting so hard to find. This beauty is from 1964 and has never been played with. She is very mint and very lovely! She has only been removed from the box to take the photos. DOLL STAND NOT INCLUDED. The lighting for my photos was too yellow and did not show the true colour of Tammy’s face. I have adjusted to show as close as possible the true colour. SEE THE CLOSE UPS! However, the photos that show the most accurate colour of her dress are the full length photos, in which Tammy’s face colour is not accurate. Tammy has a pale face, that contrasts beautifully with her lovely coral lips and coral blusher. Tammy’s golden blonde hair is super shiny and minty in it’s factory setting. Her body is in excellent mint condition. Her outfit includes turquoise blue dress with Ideal tag, beautiful net headscarf with tiny attached 3d flowers tied with a white organza ribbon, and amazing bright turquoise blue shoes. She also wears white knickers. The dress in lined in white organza. The fabric of the dress is beautiful – a structured textured light fabric. It is a very structured skirt to the dress so that it keeps it’s shape wonderfully without any net underskirts. The dress is very crisp and almost minty in feel. There are a few tiny fade/age spots on the dress that you have to look very close to see. Not detectable when on display, but have shown close ups. The soles of the shoes are marked Japan and excellent minty condition. Her box is only in amazing condition for one of these rare exclusive Japan dolls. The cellophane front window intact. The box is crispy and clean with very tiny amounts of wear to the corners and sides at the back. It shows great graphics of Tammy. An amazing addition to any Tammy collection! Skipper remains beautiful condition with perfect shiney brunette hair with no hair cuts or missing plugs etc and beautiful high colouring to face and perfect body. She has no bites, chews or breaks and really is a perfect example of a very hard to find vintage Mattel Skipper Made in Japan doll. She wears her complete oriignal red and white outfit in a swimsuit style and this remains mint condition likewise her shoes and headband are perfect. She comes complete with her original stand and in original box. Side of the box stock number 0950 (Brunette) Skipper Barbie’s little sister with stand Imported from Japan c. Stand is perfect condition and original box remains very good condition but has come away at the seams on one side (attached to the end) on the lid and one side seam away on the base – scuffs around edges consistent with age and storage however still a very good clean vintage box. Overall a beautiful doll remaining in exceptional vintage displayed condition and a lovely example of a vintage very hard to find Brunette Mattel vintage Skipper doll to both doll and outfit.
