Vintage #1 Barbie Body with Blonde #3 Ponytail Barbie Head, Shoes, Sunglasses

Original #1 Barbie Body w/ No. 3 Head in Swimsuit W/Accessories No. There was an American Girl in the box, two Twist n’ Turn Staceys still in their original shrink wrap and several highly collectible Silkstone dolls but this is the jewel in the crown. It was stored in her best case, with some of her best outfits and kept with her best vintage pieces, probably so she could grab it quickly in a fire. We would like to think she would have rescued us first, but thankfully, we never had to find out. She was an awesome mom. 1 Barbie body with a No. 3 Ponytail head attached. Both are in great shape with good coloring. This doll comes complete with an original pair of white and blue sunglasses, an original black and white swimsuit, and a matched set of black shoes (one plain/one stamped “Japan”) designed for the No. 1 with holes in the feet to accommodate her stand. For an item that’s more than 60 years old, this doll is in amazing shape! Her joints are nice and tight and there are no visible neck splits, no bite marks and no strong odors. On her bottom, you can clearly see. This is no reproduction. This is the real thing. This beautiful #3 Ponytail head comes with brown eye shadow and lovely blonde hair, styled with the signature Barbie ponytail curl. There are no visible neck splits or green ear. It’s in such good shape, we’ve had interest in it as separate item, but we decided against attempting doing that for fear of causing damage. Plus, who doesn’t look better with a head? First edition Barbies are becoming harder and harder to find, and this one is in great condition. However, there are few issues that should be noted. There are ear ring holes and the ring finger of the right hand appears to have some casting issues. It is slightly withered with a couple of visible grooves that don’t appear to impact its structural integrity. There are also some stains on the legs below the knee and on the feet. The right foot tube is missing and the left one protrudes slightly. Finally, her upper back and back side have some brown discoloration. The sun glasses look great, but I have not attempted to fully extend them for fear of damaging them. This beautiful item has. Been stored away gently for years in a pet-free, smoke-free home. This is a very beautiful Twist n’ Turn TNT Mattel Barbie Doll in a. Vintage Original Barbie “Good Sports” outfit complete with a handmade handbag. She will make a great addition to your collection. She is over 50 years, so she. Will have some beauty marks (aka). (Comes from a smoke free environment). This TNT Barbie has a 1966 Mattel body which is in very good to excellent vintage condition clean and ready for display. (please refer to pictures). She has a Twist’N Turn body. Her arms and legs are tight. As shown in pictures her legs are a bit discolored. Bendable knees both bend 3 times. She has very nice hands. And feet, there are no missing fingers or toes, however, her right front ankle does have a indentation. She has beautiful feet and toes for this type of Barbie. Both of her ankles look very good. I do not see bit or prick marks, but I can’t rule out one or two I might have missed. She does have re-rooted eyelashes. Her makeup is original and her lips are beautiful. Her back and front torso look good however, there are some light. I do not see any missing hair plugs, however the way her hair falls is may seem so. Her outfit is vintage includes top, scarf, jeans, beat, and soft white tennis shoes. She will also come with a handmade Handbag. Her outfit is in very good condition but as you see in the pictures the bottom hem of her top is coming undone. This Barbie will displays wonderfully and you will just want to keep looking at her.
