Vintage 1962 Bubble Cut Barbie Doll in Tagged’Silken Flame. Scroll down for larger views. This is a Bubble Cut Barbie, made in 1962 by Mattel. She has her early marked’Barbie’ body and a Bubble Cut hairstyle. Her face is excellent, with good coloring, original paint, blue eyes & pink bubble-gum lips. Just light rubs on her brows. No earrings & no green ear. Hair is golden-blonde, full & clean in the original bouffant set. Body is also nice with excellent coloring & tight limbs. Pink nail polish is pretty much intact. Just a little shoe mark on one foot. Barbie wears an original 1961 tagged’Silken Flame’ Dress with original gold belt & clutch purse. Plus early black OT shoes. I’ve added a 1990’s reproduction’Red Flare’ matching coat, hat & purse. All in nice condition. Please check our listings for many more Barbie and other vintage dolls from this estate collection.
