Vtg #2 BUBBLE CUT BARBIE 850 – Raven W/Pedestal In B. Suit IN ORIG BOX-Read Desc. Extremely Rare #2 Barbie. Left Buttocks – #2. Doll has some “flaking” on her face. From my research I have learned this is considered degrading or white powder caused by leeching plasticizer. There are no known ways to stop the plastics from degrading but can cosmetically treat the problem. There are very minor spots of this on her foot, which can be seen in the close up photo of her feet. Box has wear from storage. One side panel is missing (photographed). Edges of box are loose/separated. I have not attempted to tape or repair these in any way. There is also writing on one side of the bottom of the box (photographed). Doll comes with pedestal, bathing suit, shoes, box. Bathing suit is in good condition with no rips or tears. Barbie’s nails and toenails are painted. Her hair is in nice condition with the “Bubblecut” style in a Raven color. Limbs are in good working order. Small mark on the back of one leg which I have photographed and pointed out.
