Beautiful Bride #1698 Barbie Vintagenear Mintnever Played With Condition1967

BEAUTIFUL BRIDE #1698 BARBIE VINTAGENEAR MINTNEVER PLAYED WITH CONDITION1967. This beautiful set has never been placed on a Barbie, so it is mint, no snags, no spots, no rips and very white, has not yellowish with time….. It has been away from the light, well wrapped, in a pet and smoke free environment and in a climate controlled temperature. This is one of the most desirable (and very hard to find) wedding dresses in Barbie dolls collection! She looked beautiful on her special day in the white satin gown with petal bodice and split skirt with bow accent. The long sleeves and upper bodice were fashioned of a pin dotted white tulle with edging on the sleeves and neckline. The back is zippered (YKK zipper, mint). Under the tunic was a voluminous under-skirt of white satin with ruffles of the pin dot tulle to complete the skirt. (the elastic has not stretched with time). The veil was fashioned from the matching tulle gathered on elastic (not stretched either) with a big satin accent bow. There were accessories too! ……. These were: a blue garter (perfect elastic), white closed-toe shoes (both marked Japan), and a bouquet of four white velvety flowers with pearl centers (all there), one velvety opening flower with yellow center and two chiffon buds with green tulle fern. A white grosgrain ribbon tied in a bow and fell to four streamers. The barbie tag is mint as you can see in picture #6. Picture #11 is taking out of Sarah Eames book, and picture #12 is taking out of a postal card that i own, and shows the beauty of this doll in this dress. Im including a filigree white Barbie hanger and short gloves from the era! The black mannequin is not included, was only to show the veil. I know the new lucky owner will be thrilled with this treasure, but i need to downsize and i have to part with my collection. Itll go to you well wrapped and on a card as it shows on picture #1, and with signature confirmation….. Probably is no other outfit like this anywhere, so it is irreplaceable.
