Vintage Blonde Original Side Part American Girl Barbie Suit Shoes Booklet 1965

Gorgeous Vintage Ash Blonde Side Part American Girl Barbie in Original Striped Swimsuit and Turquoise Heels/Mules from the mid-60’s. She comes with a Barbie Booklet featuring the the “American Girl” illustrations. I bought her for myself but have since decided to pare down my personal collection. I don’t want all these pretty dolls just sitting in a closet. This American Girl is just so lovely. I’m not certain, but I’m thinking the ribbon is a replacement from that time. She has her original face paint. Her lips have faded to a butter yellow. She has a little bit of rubbing to her eye ridges. They could be be touched up, if desired. There is also a little bit of a clear residue on the right hand side of her face. I haven’t tried to clean it off. Her body is in nice condition with most of it’s coral pink fingernail polish. No neck splits or green ear. A few pink marks on her arms (please see close up photos) and a light bluish dot on her upper back. Her right leg clicks 3 times, but her right leg no longer does. Her swimsuit is in nice used condition. Some slight fading and fabric wear. No splits in the shoes. The bottom of the left shoe marked Japan. I added a booklet featuring Barbie with the American Girl hairstyle on the front. It includes the 1600 fashions but does have some wear and wrinkling. I think this doll is so beautiful. But, since I’m not the original owner, or an expert I’m not able to make any guarantees about her. Please inspect the photos carefully and let me know if you have any questions. Barbie VINTAGE Brunette SIDE PONYTAIL TALKING BARBIE Doll withOriginal Hair Set

Not mint but nice for display. Dolls have been wiped down with a damp cloth but could use a little cleaning. Head has no repaints, reroots, splits, nips, green, trimmed, or empty plugs. Face paint is complete with lashes in both eyes (a little short). Hair appears to be in the original set with a few fly aways and vintage bows. Body is marked Mexico with tight arms and hips. Legs are attached properly and pose as they should but please be aware that the joints are a fragile Mattel design flaw and should be handled carefully. No splits or pinpricks. Pull string is present but she is mute. She will come dressed in her original swimsuit in played with condition. There is no “best offer” option on this listing. Now for the fine print: DESCRIPTION Smoke free home but the previous environment may not have been smoke/pet free. Any odors detected will be addressed. Vintage Brunette Side Part American Girl Barbie Doll 1070 ULTRA RARE

Hair is super thick and complete but needs styled. Missing hair ribbon so I used metal headband to hold hair (will remove but send). Face paint is complete. Doll has small pricks on face that I did not notice until I took pictures. Not noticeable unless inspected. Limbs are very tight and knees bend and hold position. Legs are nice and straight but have many many pricks. Such a rare doll would benefit from a better body. Clone blouse needs snap tightened. I will send you an invoice on Sunday or Monday.
