Boy Ichimatsu doll w/box (some wear on fingers and toes – doll is approximately 8″ tall and box is approximately 8.5″ tall – box has noticeable wear) 2. Girl Ichimatsu doll w/box (some wear on face and fingers – doll is approximately 9″ tall and box is approximately 10.5″ tall – box is in good condition). Both have amazingly vibrant outfits. The colors on the Kimono & boy’s clothes are very bright and gorgeous! These 2 are an absolute gem and would make a great addition to any collection. Head is in pretty good condition with minor wear, hair needs a little attention and the makeup could use a touchup as well. The body is rough, especially the feet and legs though the knees lock and hold three times. One leg moves and holds a pose, the other leg is loose and swings (will not hold a pose). Arms have full range of movement and pose. Item shows minor cosmetic wear, see photos. Swimsuit is in good condition but untagged. Thank you for choosing my store! Vintage Japanese Ichimatsu Doll by Yamazaki – 16 Kimono-Clad Girl on Stand. This is a beautiful Ichimatsu-style doll from Japan, dressed in a traditional red silk-like kimono adorned with colorful floral and geometric motifs. The doll features a serene, lifelike face with delicate hand-painted details, straight black hair, and glass-like eyes. It is securely mounted on a black lacquered wooden display stand. The base is marked with Japanese kanji characters: (Yamazaki), identifying the maker – a known producer of high-quality workshop dolls rather than mass-market souvenirs. Type: Ichimatsu Ningyo (Traditional Japanese Child Doll). Kimono: Red with multicolor designs, includes obi and decorative tassels. Mounted: Black lacquered wooden base (included). 16 tall including stand. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Hair is full, and the kimono is clean and vibrant. There is a little discoloration on the top of the knot on white band above her waist (photo 2) consistent with her age.
