Vintage Mod 1967 Twist’N Turn Barbie Doll #1160 – “Silver Brunette”. Original “Twist’N Turn” Barbie doll from the 60’s. She has the harder to find “silver brunette” hair that has a grayish / charcoal hue. Hair is factory set hair with original orange hair ribbon bow that is factory tied. Including pictures of her hair in natural daylight to better understand hair color. Hair is long, shiny, & smooth. Original factory paint & eyelashes – great condition! Lips are nice, slight fade at the upper bow of her lip. Skin coloring is peachy pink & even. Legs tight at hip. No bites, no pricks, no chews to her legs or feet. Some nail polish on fingers. Gorgeous Vintage #3 Brunette Ponytail Barbie Doll with Factory Braid & Orig. SS

Beautiful #3 vintage brunette ponytail Barbie doll, with well-matched head and body vinyl of a pale creamy coloring. The face paint on this doll is in wonderful condition, with only a light touch-up to lips. Picture #2 was taken “after” the touch-up to lips, and picture #3 was taken “before”. The touch-up paint is water-based acrylic, and can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Removal of red paint requires special care, so as to not smear onto surrounding vinyl, always stroke Q-tip inward. There are some areas of surface dingeyness, and some small surface blemishes, with a large one on right side of upper back area (see picture #9). Although not easily seen, but should be noted, is that a very tiny nose-nip has been expertly smoothed see pictures #4 and #5. Also, please note in picture #5, that the darker area on lower part of face, is a shadow. The hair is very thick and shiny, and appears to be uncut; a new elastic has been added to the secure the ponytail without disturbing the original wrap. The original fingernail paint is 90%, and approximately 80% on toenails. The original vintage swimsuit is in excellent, undamaged condition. 1967 Vintage Barbie Brunette Francie’s Friend Casey Doll NRFB Factory Sealed

This Casey is in beautiful condition. She has the original cellophane around her box with the original tag still hooked to the front of the box. There are no holes in the cellophane. There are a few depressions in the so that it isn’t completely smooth but there are no holes. Her cello is wrapped around her head and her hand tag is still attached. Cheeks are still rosy. Her teeth just have a small imperfection in the paint where a little pink shines through. Her earring is still in place. Just looking at her normally you do not see any green ear. VERY VERY RARE Vintage PLATINUM Color Magic Barbie Factory ROOTED Prototype doll

Rare FACTORY ROOTED Platinum Color Magic Barbie doll. She is RARE and her face is the more narrow version. Her make-up is VIBRANT and all original- BEAUTIFUL color, soft grey eye shadow. Her hair still has the original pink clip. Most hair plugs are present with the exception of a few missing plugs under her bang area. A small green dot is present on the outer side of one calf which is from the inner leg wire which is VERY common. (see photo) Her hair has never been color changed or cut. As these color magic dolls age their hair becomes a little more brittle so she should be handled gently and respectfully for a girl of her years and distinction. If you’re a “pristine doll collector” this doll is not for you as she is not what I would consider “brand new” condition. She shows a little age and is in very good condition all things considered and looks great as a display doll. If you have a question, please ask… I see no pinpricks on her. No ear ring holes. The vintage color magic swimsuit is excellent and has not been color changed, all it’s missing is the little ribbon tie around the waist. She has no shoes or headband. Mattel produced this limited number, highly collectible Platinum White Color Magic Barbie in 1966. To find a true factory rooted Platinum Color Magic is quite rare. There are some color magic re-roots out there, but VERY few factory original color magic P L A T I N U M Barbies. She would make a wonderful display Color Magic for your collection..
