HERE ARE TWO SAMPLE/ PROTOTYPE SKIPPER DOLLS. I HAVE SEEN BOTH TERMS USED WHEN REFERRING TO THESE DOLLS. WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT FROM THE REGULAR SKIPPERS IS THAT THESE DOLLS WERE MADE OF RESIN, HAVE LARGER FEET, WIDER STANCE, JAPAN IS LENGTHWISE ON THE FOOT NOT VERTICAL, AND THEY HAVE 2 ROWS OF BANGS. THE TOP LAYER AND ONE BENEATH THE TOP LAYER. BLONDE- HAS NICE FACE PAINT WITH SLIGHT RUB TO ENDS OF EYE BROWES AND MINIMAL RUB TO TOP LIP. NO PIERCINGS OR GREEN. SOME RED ON THE BOTTOM OF LEFT FOOT (I HAVE NOT TRIED TO REMOVE). HAIR IS THICK, SHINY, WITH NO CUTS OR MISSING PLUGS. SOME STRETCHING TO THE LEG OPENINGS ON SWIMSUIT. WEARING RED JAPAN FLATS. BRUNETTE- SOME RUBBING TO BOTTOM LIP. DOES HAVE SOME GREEN AROUND HAIR LINE FROM THE HEADBAND. HAIR IS THICK, SHINY WITH NO CUTS OR MISSING PLUGS. LIMBS ARE NICE AND TIGHT.. SOME RED ON SHOULDERS FROM SWIMSUIT. HAS A MARK ON RIGHT CHEST AND PIN POINT ON LEFT HIP IN FRONT. SWIM SUIT IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THESE DOLLS ARE HARD TO FIND. Vintage Titan SL Sample Skipper Large Japan on Foot in OSS

STUNNING Vintage SAMPLE SKIPPER Doll RARE Early 1963 Test Mrkt/ Prototype MINT Description GORGEOUS Early 1963 S/L SAMPLE SKIPPER DOLL MINT with her OSS and Japan flats Sample Skipper Dolls were the very FIRST Skippers made by Mattel before the regular issue as a market test and are referred to by some as prototypes. These dolls are rare and most difficult to find, especially in MINT or even excellent condition. If they were, it was for a very brief time. In addition to the sweet facial expression of early Skippers, Sample dolls have certain characteristics that set them apart from regular issue dolls, from facial qualities, type of material for the hair, hair thatching and bangs to the wide stance. The legs of Sample dolls were made of resin, have the wider stance, slightly larger feet, two rows of bangs, and some have unusual (color magic) hair colors, but also available in regular issue blonde and brunette. There are no mentionable issues with this doll. Makeup is all original, hair is thick and the body is super nice. DESCRIPTION: HAIR: gorgeous titian/red hair. It is silky, long, soft and’stays’ in place. She has NO missing plugs or cuts. She has the correct marking SKIPPER/1963/Mattel Inc. On the right hip. The left hip has #2. No chews or gouges. All fingers and toes. There is no pink or red fade on the legs like so many Sample Skippers. This doll shows little to no playwear, but as I always state, there may be minimal scuffing just due to the age of vintage items. She has a wider stance and larger feet as a Sample doll should. Lastly, JAPAN is written on the bottom of the right foot from toe to heel, not across the toes. Only small mark on right thigh in front. I’ve described the doll to the best of my ability. If I’ve missed anything, it is by no means intentional. I do not always mention factory flaws. The items I list are vintage and likely played with at some point in their life. Large lot Vintage Barbie Tutti Dolls/clothes/accessories TLC-VG

Vintage Barbie Tutti Dolls/clothes/accessories TLC-VG. Up for your consideration is a large lot of Tutti dolls x 2 and clothes and accessories. Some of the clothes I do not know if they are original to Tutti or not but they appear to be the correct size? Some are very clean and some need a wash. Some have the B/W Tutti label and some do not. Some of the accessories are good and some are TLC. Brunette Tutti in original box – her pamphlet and white brush and comb are in a baggie. She is in excellent condition and her hair is full and thick and long – still has her original hair ribbon but there is a small split at the back of it. Blonde Tutti with pigtails – I have added some new elastics to her pigtails – she has chew marks on her feet. The case is in excellent condition with the intact plastic and clothes rod and working clasp. Doing some major downsizing in the coming week – watch for more great items! Comes from a cat friendly home although I try and keep him away from my collection. Any questions please ask! An assortment of shoes go with it. LARGE ANTIQUE CHINA DOLL WITH WONDERFUL LACE TRIMMED DRESS. Circa: 1970’s – Made In Japan. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Does she make a statement? – you bet she does! This large china is 25 inches tall. She has an old cloth body. I have not undressed her. She wears lace trimmed silk like pantaloons (see photo); black slip; and a terrific hand made dress with antique lace trim. Notice the beaded accent piece. She is an outstanding china head doll and will stand out and be admired in your collection. The china head & shoulder plate does not have any damage.
