The pieces feature authentic vintage markings, including the gold foil “OMC Japan” sticker on the base and stamped “JAPAN” text. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Beautiful, 10-piece collection of authentic vintage Japanese Hakata Urasaki unglazed clay dolls (Ningyo), handcrafted in Japan during the mid-20th century (circa 1950s-1960s). These highly collectible pieces are famous for their realistic, expressive features, hand-painted details, and beautiful matte finishes depicting traditional Japanese culture. The 10-Piece Lot Includes. 6-Piece Traditional Wedding Ceremony Grouping: Includes the elegant Bride in full ceremonial kimono, Groom, 4 seated parent/elder figures, and the miniature offering table accessory. 1 Standalone Scholar Elder: Seated cross-legged and reading from an open hand-painted scroll. 1 Standing Girl with Fish: Beautifully detailed young girl holding a large red fish (Tai/Sea Bream) and a woven basket. 1 Grandfather with Grandchild: A sweet character vignette featuring a smiling elder with a young child climbing on his back/lap. 1 Seated Wise Elder: Expressive figure with long grey hair resting in a peaceful pose.
