1962 Redhead Titian Ponytail Barbie. This was my mom’s Barbie that she got for Christmas, 1962. She is a redhead ponytail with pink lips, fingernails and toenails. On her right butt it says Barbie R, PATS PEND, cMCMLVIII, BY MATTEL inc. And on left butt it has 11. I’ve done some research to classify her and found out the 11 means the mold number and is not significant to classifying. From what I can gather she is a number 5or6, 1962, because of the pink lipstick, nail polish, and red hair. Her lip, nail, and eye coloring are all in excellent condition. The bottom of her right foot has JAPAN. She has her original red swim suit, and red shoes. Unfortunately the top of the shoes split. Also her black wire stand is here. My mom liked to operate on her dolls so unfortunately she poked two pinholes in her boobs. She also has her original earrings but the pearl coating has come off. There is very light green where her earrings had been during storage. All in all a well preserved BARBIE from 1962. &####128515;Condition is Used.
