1964 Vintage Japan Barbie with2 Wigs, Vintage Wardrobe, Vintage Ponytail Doll Case

1964 Vintage Japan Barbie w/2 Wigs, Vintage Wardrobe, Vintage Ponytail Doll Case. I believe this is 1964 as it looks like other dolls of that year but cannot guarantee that as accurate. Please look at the photos carefully. The doll has been well loved and has only two of the original three wigs. She comes with all the outfits/misc accessories shown in the photos. Some of the clothing items have lost snaps, fraying, fading and stains, which may or may not come out. I have included a front and back photo of the doll, doll case, and clothing. NOTE: Please look at the final photo. In my attempt to get the blond wig off the wig stand, the wig holder broke. So two are intact with one broken. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I have just learned that this is a Ponytail Barbie with her hair cut off. Vintage #4 Ponytail Barbie In Barbie In Japan Near Complete Wig Wardrobe

Up for sale today we have a #4 ponytail Barbie. She is a brunette, but her hair is completely cut off. She has a bit of hair left at the back, above her neck, as you can see exposed beneath the wig. Her scalp still retains some flocking, identifying her as a #4. She has very lovely face paint. She is unfortunately missing a pinky finger, as well as some nail polish. She wears Midges Wig Wardrobe wig styled as a Japanese geisha or maiko. This is from a Mattel vintage wig set, and still has the original tie. It does has some flyaways as most vintage wigs have! She comes dressed in Barbie in Japan. The outfit is near complete, only missing one hair flower sprig, the pamphlet, and one silver sole for a shoe. The shoes are detached from the tabi socks, and there is glue residue on both. The one silver sole included is also detached, it is just shown sitting on top of the shoe in the photos. The old glue has lost its stick! The kimono and obi are in very nice shape. There are no large areas of missing print noticed. The socks still have the pieces for the toes attached. The flower and silver hair accessories are in good shape. She also has the ball on stick accessory inserted in to the wig. Additionally, her fan and samisen are included. More photos available upon request! I do my best to describe my items as honestly as possible and hope this will not happen!
